Verve London Pet Boutique & Cafe

I come here with my toddler all the time and love it! It’s great as the dogs are friendly and trained and there a cool parrot too! Staff are kind and relaxed. I’m able to have a quiet moment whilst my toddler plays with the animals and I can enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine with snacks. We love it so much that we even had a birthday party there with the whole nursery class in attendance :)!!! Would recommend this place if you love animals and nice cocktails!

My first experience dining with dogs and it exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed the concept and the server was friendly and gracious.

I was skeptical when I first got there. The place is smaller than you'd expect but the welcoming is bigger!From dogs and humans! The guys were amazing hosts and the dogs such sociable and very well behaved.The cat didn't show up for a long while (it's a cat in the end) but when he did he very liked being pet and didn't get annoyed.I ordered a lychee martini which was delicious and they treated us almost as friends/family.Absolutely recommended.

Lovely place, staff are so friendly. Many beautiful dogs to spend time with, plus a parrot. They were all really well behaved. Nice cafe too with good drinks. Reasonable prices for what you get.I'm not even a dog lover, just went for my daughters birthday and we all had a wonderful time, would highly recommend.

We took our 3 year old Chow Chow - Kira for her first dental appointment and was nervous as she’s very reserved and does not like to be touched by strangers. Andre had done an amazing job on her teeth and grooming. We were so surprised to see her coat so soft and well groomed and her teeth cleaned without Andre having to restrain her, which has been our main concern with other groomers we have tried around London. We are so relieved and happy with the outcome, thank you Andre for taking care of Kira. We will definitely be back with both Kira and our other Chow Chow - Zoe.Thank you

Sorry to give a bad review but I am left feeling very disappointed after attending the boutique. The hygiene levels were very low, the tables and furniture were filthy and the coffee wasn’t great. I am just really annoyed I had to pay £5 to go in? This really needs to be revised. It wasn’t clear that £5 needs to be paid on top of anything bought. It should be redeemable against drinks. And if it’s for “petting”, both dogs didn’t seem to want to be petted. Not a great experience.

Entry fee of £5 per person was not made clear from the beginning. Hygiene levels were also very low. We ordered a meat platter that simply had ham, cheese and olives, which was £20 on the menu. However, when my friend paid the bill, they suddenly charged £10 extra even though it was never made clear that it costed £30. The store's reasoning was that it added cheese into the platter (even though we only ordered the meat platter only).The lack of transparency and hygiene has made this a bad experience.

We visited this shop today while in London from the US. While the people were an average amount of friendly to us, the general atmosphere had a somewhat uncomfortable feel. A woman who said she did not work there was hanging out the entire time and did command quite a bit of the energy in the room. She kept telling us she did not like “small yappy dogs”, and my wife and I have one at home. The third time she made note of this, like we really cared about her opinion, I reminded her that we love them. We interacted with a small older boi (Pretzel) who loved the attention, and a bully breed (Cher) who was a very cuddly girl. We observed two male dogs, including pretzel, that were not fixed. I ordered a tropical drink and my wife an alcoholic cider. We enjoyed the drinks prepared for us and decided not to have a meal. When we went to leave there was a large breed dog (possibly a mastiff mix) standing at the front door outside of it, and I opened the door to let him in. When I attempted to pet this dog he flinched quickly showing signs of previous abuse. I cannot say if he was abused by this place or the people there, but I can say the other reviews left here made me unsure about visiting for that very reason. We booked a two hour visit and stayed for one hour. I wish I could recommend this place, as the idea is a great one. The execution of this idea is presented in a terrible way.EDIT: The woman who said she did not work here must be the former “manager” from the other reviews listed. I was looking at the photos of this location after my post and noticed the larger breed dog I mentioned that seemed to have been abused. This photo was taken 3-4 years ago. I have to imagine he has endured abuse at some point or another where he is staying. 2 stars down to 1 star.

Andre is a fantastic groomer. Best person I have met to cut my dogs nails (who is terrified of nail cutting). Lovely selection of food and pet items. Really recommend.
