Lily's Loaf

We have been getting weekly bread from Lily for a while now and it without a doubt makes the whole week better! The sourdough is truly divine with a lovely crunchy crust and great flavour. Lily sometimes gives tips on what to do with any leftover stale bread, but it has never lasted long enough to go stale! Even the dogs have developed a penchant for the bread - nothing was more disappointing than when they stole our fresh new loaf and ate the whole thing! The morning buns are so good, light and syrupy - an excellent weekend treat. The cookies are amazing, but always seem to disappear much too quickly! Everything lily makes is just delicious and Harry delivers it so speedily and is so nice and friendly. The whole experience is a delight!

The sourdough loaf is a really good size and is honestly so tasty. Perfect with spread and jam and in savoury sandwiches. The vegan choc chip cookies have a decadent amount of choc chips and are such a staple to have in the house! Love Lily’s Loaf!

Really great micro bakery! Seeded sourdough is delicious, epic morning buns always a treat, and most recently tried the veggie (maybe vegan?) sausage rolls - which were super tasty. Great to be able to support this local business and enjoy such tasty freshly baked goods.

Where do I start?! Fantastic fresh, flavourful sourdough (and more!) delivered to your door by bike. I can’t recommend the morning buns enough for a weekend breakfast treat. The cookies are hands down the best I’ve ever had, so indulgent and chocolatey with a delicious salt crunch on top. And I can’t wait to get my hands on some more mince pies this Christmas, too. Thank you Lily for all the tasty treats and warm, friendly service. A truly wonderful local business!

Best sourdough we've had since... basically ever! Absolutely LOVE the Super Seedy and the Sourdough Loaf. Delicious crunchy crust and lovely, soft and airy bread on the inside.

We first came across Lily’s loaf at a local market where we bought some homemade pesto which was lovely. Since then we have ordered cookies, epic morning buns, and bread via the website - the baked goods are seriously good. Also having freshly baked goods delivered to our front door is just such a lovely thing! Being able to support a local business is the cherry on top.

My daughter has nut allergies so we tried Lily’s loaf as normally bakery items are not safe. We are now subscribed to the sourdough deliveries and go to the markets where Lily will be very regularly! The morning buns are indeed epic. Everything we have tried had been snaffled up instantly as it’s all so delicious x

Lily made the most delicious vegan, GF chocolate and carrot cupcakes for our wedding in April. Lily involved us in her creative design process, flexibly accommodated our needs and was a dream to work with. Her cakes were absolutely divine (so moist!) and she presented them beautifully with edible flowers and a cake stand she made herself! We could recommend her more highly as a baker and business woman. Thank you Lily!
