Very disappointed. I sent a bike trailer in to be galvanized. I got it back with 5 light and one mudgaurd bracket all bent, the number plate bracket was also pushed forward. There was a fair bit of time put into the making if the trailer, unfortunately that was not represented by the handling of it by NK.For this reason a poor 2 stars.

The worst customer service ever.

As a recent customer of NK Coatings, I believe the Quality of their Coatings is mediocre and I base that opinion on my own past experience with the Powder Coating on my Driveway Gates.I feel that NK management are just not serious enough about Quality or about continuous improvement within their work processes and I say this because, as I understand it, they have the capability to improve on their Galvanizing operation pre-powder coat for example (which would enhance the overall finish), but maybe don't do so for product cost reasons!If this is the case I can understand that, as a business needs to keep their costs down but .. What price do you put on Quality?Anyway, as a disappointed customer (after fruitless attempts to agree a remedial work plan for my gates), I can only rate the powder coating on my driveway gates and NK, at a 2* performance.

Left my metal to be galvanised, I came back to find a man apologising for bending my metal. It was poorly handled and the worker that was responsible shouldn't be working there if that passed as acceptable business standards.They then decided to spit in my face by offering to give me a discount for my unusable goods. Disgraceful, do not come here unless you enjoy the lowest quality service money can buy. The service was such a joke I would have paid monopoly money for it instead of using anything of any real value. You have been warned.

If you want a quality product do not use this company. I have been in the fabrication business for 28 years and I have never come across such poor quality Powder Coating. For years they were the company to go to but recently the quality is no longer there.Last August an office employee claimed that they were the best in the business and that's why you leave your products with us" - I wish I hadn't. The "extra fettling" that was to be carried out so that my balcony railings would have a top class finish - was not carried out. The finish was disgraceful. I took the railings back and spoke to another employee.He claimed that "the sulphur content in the steel was too high and that's why the powder coating was of poor quality". Safety 1st forklift was here training over the past week and it's a very friendly site and staff

This firm has went downhill very badly over the past few years galvanising has got that bad it takes hours to clean in the fabrication business for over 10 years material is drilled properly but they don't take time to look and just drill it and as for losing and damaging material they are shocking, any time make a complaint it's in one ear out the other nk used to be very good now there the worst in the north

NK Coatings is truly an excellent operation and a first choice for galvanizing services. Exceptionally professional and friendly staff - they even gave me a tour around the site. Thank you so much
