Lovely little cozy pub, very friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty and service was fantastic. Really deserves 5 stars but given four due to my only criticism being there wasn't a great amount of choice in the food menu. All in all definitely recommend.

Called in on way home from Cheltenham and had a standard English breakfast. My husbands was great but I have gluten and dairy allergy so not as good. I was given an alternative for sausage, and no black pudding but gf bread was nice. No alternative to milk so had a herbal tea.We were the only ones there! Come on you lot. It's very nice and carvery on Wednesday and Saturday. Give it a go

Upon being seated despite pre ordering nobody knew what was happening. Only after chasing twice did we get carvery tickets. Only two meats available, Yorkshire puddings had an odd taste and the stuffing was wet! Then cleared our table of half the plates and forgot and left the other half on there again having to chase to ask these to be moved. Then forgot to put puddings through. Christmas puddings were sad little microwaved ones that were barely warm and had to be sent back. Custard was also cold. Chocolate profiteroles and hot chocolate sauce was just a few defrosted normal profiteroles with the syrup it comes with. Again cold and not what was stated on the menu? Waitress didn't seem to care and brought out there own hot chocolate sauce and acted like this was a nice addition instead of recognising false advertising of the food. Again took ages to get the bill and tried to over charge us! Such poor service, very slow and didn't seem to care so won't be returning. Previous visit had similar issues. Would also expect for desserts to be made in house and to not admit they are just defrosting them out back, next time I'll go buy a frozen pack from tesco instead!

Called in on a Monday for lunch knowing the place had reopened and having checked opening times on Google. Unfortunately upon arrival just after midday the place appears to still be closed. A window was open so I leaned in and shouted hello. A woman appeared so I asked were they open to which she abruptly replied no they're shut on Mondays. I said that was a shame as I'd driven out specially and a Google check showed them as open. She rudely replied well we haven't been open on a Monday for weeks. I said you might want to update your details on the web. I was so shocked at the abruptness that it's put me off trying there again. Very disappointing.Upon checking the Internet over 2 weeks later and it still shows as open on a Monday too. Rubbish.

Attended a Xmas lunch for 14. Food (soup, carvery and cheesecake) was very good, esp. cheesecake. £25 + drinks good value.

Turned up on a Sunday to find it was carvery only. This was really nice. But there is only one veggie option which was a beetroot Wellington which wasn't very nice. Couple of veggie options would be nice. A quorn option or something as the rest is the carvery.

I recently had the pleasure of stopping at a roadside pub in Teddington, and it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, who were not only efficient but also genuinely happy, made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my visit was undoubtedly the food and drink offerings. The pub had an extensive menu that catered to a wide range of tastes. Whether you're a fan of traditional pub classics or looking for something more adventurous, this place had it all. The quality of the food was outstanding, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. Not only was the food exceptional, but the drinks selection was equally impressive. The pub had a variety of choices, including a great selection of craft beers and wines, ensuring there was something to please every palate. What struck me the most was how well-kept both the interior and exterior of the pub were. It's evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining a clean and inviting space. Whether you choose to sit inside or enjoy the fresh air outside, you're guaranteed a comfortable and pleasant environment.Overall, I can't recommend this roadside pub enough. The combination of fantastic food and drink offerings, efficient and friendly staff, and the overall cozy ambiance made it an unforgettable stop. So, if you find yourself in Teddington, be sure to visit this gem of a pub. You won't be disappointed!

Very nice service and the food (I had a mixed grill) was delicious, the peppercorn sauce was the best I've had and everything was cooked beautifully.I'd of preferred a griddled pineapple over a tomato, but that's just my preference.

Gorgeous carvery, meat cooked extremely well. The Turkey was melt in the mouth, not the dry home cooked Xmas Dinner sort people associate with turkey. My wife can't have food with alcohol and the gravy contains it, but they were very happy to make her a small pot of non alcohol containing gravy. Server was very knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back.

I am passing by this Inn daily for years and never been here due to some prejudices I have. Well, yesterday I've said to give it a try and Lord it was a good decision! The staff is friendly, careful and polite. The food is excelent, at least what we had and the bill is OK. The sirloin steak was delicious, the lamb shank was tasty and homemade like. The crisps and vegs were fresh.Overall I highly recommend the place.
