Easy climb, lovely views

Beautiful we hill kids loved it. Would definitely recommend it is in a stunning location

Great small hill giving great views from the top. Parked at the church in Strathblane and followed the old rail line path which is clearly sign posted with info boards at the start. Accessed the hill via a metal fence and followed the faint path round the right hand side of the hill, take note of the interesting basalt rock columns! The path seemed to fade away but it was an easy uphill climb to the top.

Interesting basalt column rock formations on this ancient volcanic plug.A short climb to the top gives fantastic 360° views of the Campsie Hills, Kelvin Valley and Strathblane.
