Bradleys The Jewellers

We went to Bradley’s for our wedding rings as we wanted a local jewellers and one our family had history with. (Father in law also doesn’t use them anymore for similar bad experiences)Our initial visit was met with a lack or acknowledgment or care but we thought maybe Covid made situations difficult even though we suspected they just didn’t think we would spend what they wanted us to. A flash of my fiancé’s engagement ring soon solved that!So we returned again and settled upon my ring.It did however need re-sizing.Long long long story short…..My wedding ring was incorrectly sized a total of 4 times!! I had to get married with a badly fitting ring. And when complained it was insinuated that somehow it was my fault the ring didn’t fit?!When I took it back after our wedding I was told it would be resized “with urgency” but there was a total lack of compassion, customer service or urgency-staff were rude. After a 2 week wait we rang them to chase where the ring was and they were rude!! So much so I was told that I had no choice but to drive to Harrogate to collect my ring “or else wait until we get it to Northallerton”.Collected the ring. They tried to charge me and the ring condition has been totally compromised.Sadly their customer service and my experience leaves me not even wanting to face the matter more and I am seeking another jewellers to rectify the problems.

Went in to ask about wedding bands with a friend marrying in March. The older woman was incredibly rude, barely even acknowledged me. Just looked at me like I was not welcome in her shop. I turned around and walked straight out. Ignorant and rude. We will spend the money elsewhere with people who welcome customers and deserve to be successful.

Very impressed with the service and professionalism in Bradley’s. I took my gold watch in this morning to get a new battery. I had popped in earlier in the week and the lady was incredibly helpful regarding the various options available. This morning, I took the watch in to get the battery changed. I also asked whether it would be possible for her to add a couple of links. The lady (Martine) carefully measured and advised that one link would suffice. When I collected the watch half an hour later, the work had been done. The watch fitted perfectly and I wasn’t charged for the extra work in adding the links. This was despite the links being very complicated to work with. On asking how much I owed for the additional work, I was told nothing as we would be sure to come back! That is very true! I have already eyed up my next anniversary gift!!! Thank you so much Andrea and Martine!

My partner and I went into the Northallerton store to look for our wedding rings. We had a great experience. The lady that helped us I believe was called Martine, was super helpful, made us feel very welcome and made sure we were really happy with our rings. She was great with my partner who is super fussy, as he doesn’t usually wear jewellery, but he was really happy with the ring he chose due to Martine being so helpful and patient. We’d definitely recommend them.

Excellent customer service! We bought our engagement ring and are having our wedding bands designed and made by Bradley’s. Would absolutely recommend Bradleys to anyone, they go out of their way to find the perfect item for you and the quality is amazing.
