Really lovely staff and tidy store. I come every time im in Plymouth!

Rude and unhelpful staff at cash desk to busy talking amongst themselves to care about customers. Store visited 5th November 2023 shan’t be bothering to go again!

The members of staff would not accept my Military ID card even though every other River island shop has done before including this one it is also listed on Defence Discount Services. The staff were also very rude and did not care one bit worse River island shop I have visited over the UK!

Looks nice and tidy as a shop. Staff members are nice and helpful. But the style of their clothes not really my taste. Good for whoever likes a smart and plain style.

Lovely and clean and excellent service

Be warned the manager of this shop is completely ignorant regarding Consumer rights and turned away my 16 year old daughter who had bought a faulty pair of trousers online the previous week (see picture) and was entitled to return them for a full refund. My daughter was very upset by this and didn't know her rights. I think because my daughter was clearly young the manager thought she could get away with this and when I rang customer services to report this they actually offered her free next day postage" on her next order and said I could take the trousers back for a refund - the nearest shop is 8 miles away! I am waiting for my daughter to receive a letter of apology from the manager."

LOVELY boots but should have checked after paying £2.80 to park for half hour. The zip is broken. Disappointed and refuse to buy again to pay to park or pay delivery . Never mind

Lovely spacious shop, lots of choices, great prices, even better with a sale on, staff friendly and polite.

We just about to purchase a pair of shoe in store when I noticed a mark on the shoe being the only size left a lady informed us that we could have the shoes discounted, however I had student discount on student bean which is available to use in store and was unsure if this would be available if I accepted the reduction due to the mark on the shoe. A male worker then came over in an extremely confrentational manner and told me I cannot use the student discount without an email! However on the app it states all you have to do is show your student beans ID at the till, I have used this many times, but he was very confrontational in the fact that I cannot use it, made for a very uncomfortable situation and have now orders the shoes online. Will not be in a hurry to return to the store based on the poor and unfriendly customer service
