Called into the shop today to buy some chisels for my pole lathe. Maurice was really helpful with suggestions and advice. I am chuffed to have such a well stocked shop in what is a fairly niche market within driving distance of me.Definitely worth a visit.

I first visited this shop 6 years ago if memory serves. And had no clue about anything greenwood working or bushcraft, treen and how much I actually love axes. I've learned a great deal just shopping there which is pretty mental. Quality and service I've not found anywhere else.

I needed a pair of handles for a two man saw, contacted store, they confirmed they had them in stock. I arranged to call to the store the following day and they kindly provided directions as I would be on foot.Maurice was in store on the day, and I explained how I had come in to possession of the two man store and what/where I’d be using it. He offered me some invaluable advice on sharpening & setting it.The whole experience was extremely positive and it was wonderful dealing with people who were so knowledgeable, they’re worth every one of the 5 Stars.

Behind an inconspicuous door lies an absolute gem of a shop. I was greeted by a very friendly lady and an even friendlier dog. The amount of stock to browse was incredible, and the staff are clearly not only very knowledgeable but passionate about sharing that knowledge. I came away with a beautiful hatchet that will last me for life, which also happens to be as long as I'm likely to stay a customer of this fantastic local shop!

Impecable craftsmanship and company. Living in the USA, international shipping is generally a long process but not from this company. I received my order in about a week and received emails on the status throughout. I was also pleased with the packaging, it was simple and secure and everything was recyclable. Definitely recommend this family owned business!
