Went for a meal last Wednesday evening with my son,the two ladies that served us were very helpful and the food was very goodBased on this we went back the following eveningWe were greeted by a miserable old man sat behind the bar who I have since found out is the landlord, he said he had No space for us (at 6pm) yes there we’re probably pre booked tables ? We could of eaten outside! There were 3 people in the pub,the outside tables were empty too we walked out….. Total opposite of the previous night’s experienceAfter talking to a local resident he said due to landlord being so miserable some local people no longer go there!So you may be lucky and have a Good meal you may not…..depends who serves you……

The most delicious food, just off the A30 on our way home. A random stop of for our 5 hour journey back home. This was a delight and we I’ll definitely be back next year. The pictures speak a thousand words. Authentic fresh home cooked food in a very friendly setting. Staff could not do enough for you. A lovely open fire. A good selection of ales, toilets were super clean. All in all a very positive experience. Great to see local village pub thriving!

Lovely pub down the road from a holiday park. Was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. Staff were welcoming and prices we very reasonable as the portions were a good size. Quiet pub down the lanes but we will be recommending it to family and friends when they holiday in the area.

What a find! We stopped in for lunch yesterday, we were warmly welcomed and had a fantastic meal.The Clovelly Inn is a proper old village pub, full of character and charm. Only wish it was our local.

Went on Sunday for a roast to be told, they don't do roast lunch. Had rib eye steak instead but was very disappointed , we had been before and it was terrible so we thought, give them another chance but wished we hadn't, will not go back again.

What a fantastic find. Had a quick pit stop there after a recommendation. I'm glad we went. Excellent staff, beautiful ambience and super food. The best meal in a pub for a long time. Value for money, tasty and moreish. I would go back in an instant. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Abolutely fantastic, we were introduced to the Clovelly Inn by a family member and we are so glad we were, this is a lovely pub with serveral seating areas and a games room with a pool table and dart board.There is an excellent selection of drinks and the food is well prepared and the portions will not leave you wanting more, I highly recommend that you save space for desert as you are spoiled with the homemade delights on offer. My personal favourites are the profiteroles and the Chocolate brownie sundae!

Great homemade food. Good value for money. We went there for my Daughter's 30th birthday. Staff very helpful. Caters for kids and wheelchair friendly. ♿️
