Lightweight Tool Hire

Booked a mirco digger for a Monday for 5 days (pre-booked 2 weeks in advance). On the Saturday before we were meant to have hired it we received a call. They told us we could no longer have it due to a customer that booked it for 1 day has now had it 2 weeks and needs it longer. Their excuse for us not receiving it when booked for was that it was a 'good' customer.They clearly do not value the pre-booking system. We would not recommend for anyone that required reliability.

The guy who runs this place is extremely helpful and very competitive with his prices. Would definitely hire form him again.

Very helpful and knew their stuff, I went in for my decking to strip paint for a spring spruce up. Spoke to the chap (I assume it's father and son, it had that traditional feel to the place) about it, and after a few minutes ended up being persuaded to take a cheaper option than I originally went in for - glad I trusted them, as my decking is looking very good now and saved myself time and money. I would recommend them to anyone.

First hire, mini digger, went really well, very competitive price, good kit, clear instruction. However, the next one, a whacker plate, not so great. The machine was difficult to start and had some suspect exposed wiring at the front. However, the main complaint was the rude borderline abusive response my wife received (swearing, aggressive, talking over her) when she returned the gear but didnt have me to help unload it. Two of the guys helped her load it in to the van when she picked it up, so was it unreasonable to expect the same deal when dropping off? Apparently it's 'company policy' that you are responsible for lifting, etc. but nobody informed us. The bloke said he had a bad shoulder but looks like he was really just having a bad day. Disappointing.

Great advice and good equipment. Have even had equipment needed at short notice.
