A fun day had by all

I had to take the Activity People to court and follow up with a CCJ to reclaim several hundred pounds they owed me. They didn't uphold their own terms and conditions by refusing to exchange a canceled activity (due to bad weather) for another activity elsewhere in the country (because I was in the area [of the original activity] for a limited period of time").The root of the dispute was that the Activity People were unable to get a refund on the booking they made on my behalf. They claimed that they were "just a booking agency" and that I was bound to the terms and conditions (that I had never seen) of the company they had booked with on my behalf.As the Activity People do nothing more than pass money and messages between the customer and third party activity companies

You are better off just booking your event direct with the venue rather than using this third party company.They offered me a time which was not available at the venue and then lied and said that someone had booked and paid in the hour between my enquiry and payment (this has been verified by the venue itself).Book directly with the venue - it's cheaper too!
