Portadown Fireplaces

We called in looking for a stove. Yes a very nice selection of stoves and fireplaces on display but the salesmanship leaves a lot to be desired. We found a stove that we were quite happy with and the price on the stove was within our budget range. I asked how much for this particular stove to be fitted and we were told a price. I then was asked for my email adresss and that the salesman man would forward me a break down of the whole job, which we believed would still be the same price. Next morning the email arrived with £1100 more added on. £600 to fit the stove etc after being told a price the evening before for fitting etc. Then there was the VAT added on. When I asked for the price of the fitted stove I expect to be told the full price not add on things after. My advice is shop else where as we did and are now very pleased that we did . A very misleading experience we had in this shop.

Excellent showroom with massive choice. Something to suit all budgets. Experienced and knowledgeable staff who advised expertly on options across fuel types. Well worth a visit to see extensive choice well displayed.

Been in here a few times browsing and was always greeted with a very welcoming manner.Decided on buying an electric fire and was given a lot of information before deciding. Would recommend to friends and family and I came from Belfast to buy.

The experience I received from Portadown Fireplaces has been second to none! The sales team were prompt in getting back to me and even organised a complimentary site visit. Geoff provided me me more inspiration and options for my fireplace and stove setting. I was given clear options all along including when it came to fitting in I could have used my own installer but decided to use subcontractors recommended by Portadown fireplaces who were absolutely fantastic! Thank Wayne for a great neat and tidy job. And even better .. all in time for Christmas! Happy to recommend to all of my family and friends!

Good showroom,but very poor workmanship and customer service when dealing with problems after fitting stove.Bad plastering, gaps around fire surround, huge gap around flue pipe, and very poor communication when dealing with complaints .Update 17/01/19 .Portadown Fireplaces returned to repair the botched job. Gap around flue pipe dealt with by replacing registration plate, at cost of further bad plastering around fire surround. New carpet fitted and walls painted in time for Christmas .Odd smell in room after lighting stove since then.Smoke now leaking from the join between the stove and the flue pipe- caulking material seems to have dried up and is flaking off ,leaving a gap through which smoke is escaping. Luckily we have not succumbed to Carbon Monoxide poisoning.Advise avoiding Portadown Fireplaces completely.Get the job done by someone competent.

Fantastic showroom with a big range of fireplaces and stoves and all the best brands. Well priced and Geoffrey and his team were really friendly and helpful - they couldn't do enough! Great customer service. If you need a fireplace, stove, gas fire or electric fire, Portadown Fireplaces is where you need to go!

I cannot recommend Portadown Fireplaces highly enough. From my first visit to the showroom to getting my fire fitted the customer service was excellent. Special mention to Cathy and Geoffrey who go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right! So if you have any fireplace requirements, make Portadown Fireplaces your number one stop!!

I am extremely pleased with the service I received in the showroom. The staff were most helpful in giving me advice on exactly what I was looking for. Very professional service.My fireplace was installed on Tuesday and to say I am pleased is an understatement. Darren and the other man helping him were absolute gentlemen. I couldn't believe how quickly they had my job done and more importantly to a very high standard.I expected to return home to a dusty house but I couldn't believe how clean and tidy the boys left my home.I look forward to enjoying my beautiful fireplace and stove. Having bought 3 stoves from Portadown Fireplaces for 2 Holmes I can definitely give a genuine review. Showroom and Sales staff inspire confidence. Unfortunately however this is where any decent service ends. The fit and finish of everything when delivered on site is far from satisfactory. Poor fitting slate, leaking flues. Even on second attempt very sub standard workmanship that needed 3rd party attention. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or return to Portadown Fireplaces no matter how much the sales staff big themselves up.

It has highly efficient room heater with up to 5kW of comfort available at the turn of a switch. I loved the site and their service; they are extensive experience in designing of fireplace and supply of quality fires, stoves and fireplaces.
