Really impressed with the detail. This is my third purchase and the first time I have had such a detailed and time saving report. I am a builder and completely missed some of the issues with the property so you guys saved me a pretty penny!! 10/10

Candice was really easy to talk to, booked in an appointment earlier than we had anticipated and the report came back in 5 days from the homebuyers survey being carried out. The survey was laid out clearly with photos and recommendations. Would definitely trust Laurence Quilter to do any other surveys we need.

Extremely disappointed by this surveyor. The home buyers report we received missed multiple serious issues with the property that have left us significantly out of pocket. The surveyor didn't inspect one of the bed rooms, (supposedly didn't want to disturb the sellers), but this resulted in them missing severe damp (as well as leaks, roof problems, structural and electrical issues). Making a complaint and receiving correspondence from them has since been extremely difficult - it seems they have been deliberately obstructive. Thoroughly discourage anyone from using their services.

Laurence Quilter Surveyors has provided us with a very thorough survey in a timely manner. Furthermore, the surveyor was available for our follow-up questions, giving great advice.

Denise did my homebuyers survey and I am happy with the service I received. Denise was friendly and informative on my first enquiry. I had time to think about things and then setting things up was easy. Denise tried to be as flexible as possible with the timings. The turnaround time of attending the property and doing the report was quick. The reportwas succinct but very informative. Price was reasonable. Would definitely use the service again!

We found there was a poor service. The surveyor was evasive and untrustworthy with shifting reasons given for why the surveyor was unable to give an exact time that they would be present on site. They did not allow the buyer and vendor to be in the building at the same time as them. Ultimatly we had no faith in Laurence Quilter's compentancy or reliability.

I used Laurence Quilter when purchasing a property last October. The bank survey came up with past subsidence issues so I ordered a heavy duty report from Laurence Quilter. The report I got was thorough and it addressed all my worries around subsidence and highlighted potential additional problems.I had some follow up queries almost a year later and I found the company more than willing to engage with me and help me resolve issues. The surveyor Ali really went above and beyond of what could be expected. I am very pleased to say that all property problems are in the past and I am more than happy to warmly pass on my super experience with this company. I will definitely use them again.

In November of 2022 Laurence quilter surveyed a flat, in a building of three flats, I then went onto purchase. Two months later I moved in, and found that they had neglected to note the roof was in “imminent need of replacement, and structurally dangerous” .My share of the repairs cost me 6 thousand pounds.The damage they neglected to report, was so obvious to see, that my neighbors who moved in three months before I did, got 11 thousand pounds knocked of the asking price, because their report (from a different company) did spot damage.I raised this issue with them, and they did send a structural engineer out to look at the damage, who acknowledged that the roof was indeed in need of repairs, but to the tune of 1,000 - 2,000 pounds worth... no where near what I was we were being quoted by three independent roofing contractors, who all noted safety concerns if it was not replaced entirely. I will follow the correct procedure and go through the Ombudsman before pursuing legal action.It has been extremely stressful, needless to say the worst of the worst of experiences with this company.UPDATE 1st of August 20223: I spent time and money pulling together all the relevant information to send to the Ombudsman as instructed by Laurence Quilter, only to receive a reply stating Laurence and Quilter have not even been members since 2018. It’s hard to tell if they are so disorganized they didn’t realize their membership expired, or they were waisting my time.
