Awful experience would not use this company again, left me with a door that doesn’t work as intended and caused a whole host of problems and blamed Martindales for their fitment, which was also shocking, a poor product fitted by cowboys which left me with an insecure door and so many problems. Getting locked inside the house, not being able to get in the house. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

One star is too much. Had my door serval years, it’s now fading & letting in a draught, the 10 year guarantee means nothing, they try all ways to get out of it. My mother in law had a problem with her door fading, she bought from a different company & the door was replaced immediately, no what did you wash it with, which way is the door facing! Wasn’t told any of this when I purchased the door. Just told use warm soapy water, which I have! I’m now having to take further action!

Avoid avoid avoid.They clearly don’t know how to fit a door. Had the door nearly 10 years and had to call them out several times. First installation was done wrong and they had to rip it all out and start again. After this, the door kept dropping on one side and it has been a mission locking the door ever since. Numerous call-outs and no permanent fix. I’ve never heard of anyone having issues with doors before including myself. What a waste of money and poor customer service. They even want to charge me £250 + Vat to come back to fix their faulty product because the 5 year parts and labour had expired. I explained I except someone needing to pay after 5 years, but as the door has been faulty since day one and has never been repaired to a high standard, I shouldn’t need to pay. They don’t care at all and want the money. I’d rather save that money and buy a new door from a professional company that knows how to fit them.Keep away from them

Delighted with the front and back doors I got from Global Doors. Excellent quality doors and the installation by Martindales was top notch. The website is excellent and it is great to know upfront what you have to pay with no hidden extras. The lead-in time from order to installation was longer than I had hoped and they possibly need more installers in London but I can not fault the quality of their entire service from using their website through to the installation. I am very happy I went with Global Doors.

Similar experience to Rob below - absolute shambles.Surveyor turned up within a week to get the order pushed through and so my money could be taken asap (no surprise) and explained my design had to be changed, which seemed easy. But then the design website was down which lead to a whole list of errors, multiple calls, emails and voicemails to their sales and support team and to someone who doesn't even work in their door division! I ended up chasing them to get an installation date in place (or no one would have contacted me), which was then put in for 3 weeks time.Door was finally put into manufacture, where I then realised my deposit/ survey money had been taken twice which lead to more calls/ emails/ voicemails to try and explain and get this refunded. Again, this is me having to do the chasing, no one in their sales team picked this up or even cared.Installation day came and I had major concerns that something would be wrong and I was right. The door had been manufactured incorrectly leading to the door knocker and top box being the wrong way round! I basically had a door knocker attached the inside of my composite door (how does this even happen?) leading to the installation team having to pack up all their equipment and go home, and me taking a day of annual leave for no reason.Still have no door, despite the survey being taken at the end of July.... I am now waiting on them to call me to resolve, but again heard nothing, so will have to chase, send emails and voicemails all over again.Just avoid them and go elsewhere, plenty of other companies you can use.

Shambolic customer service; avoid this company:We ordered and paid for a solid-core timber composite door on 23rd Feb. Delivery arranged for Thurs 7th March. Phoned by Global Doors on 6th March to say the side-panel glass was not right and delivery would be delayed til Friday 8th March. No delivery on 8th despite us waiting in and no communication from Global Doors. When it didn’t turn up and we rang to ask where it was; Global Doors were unable to trace it and a new one was apparently put into production.Delivery was again rearranged now for 14th March but only part of the door turned up then, and the door was sent out with the wrong numbers and lock! The glass panel finally arrived on 18th March but now no door sill. We were told this would arrive the next day - ie 19th March - but true to form it didn't arrive until 20th March.It has been a complete fiasco and delaying the building project on our house. Whenever I have spoken to people on the phone they are very pleasant but Global Doors come across as a firm that doesn’t email or ring you back when you complain, doesn’t have a tracking system on their own deliveries and has a slipshod way of sending out orders, with all blame being passed to their suppliers. It is a lack of care verging on a complete disregard for people paying for their products.I would not recommend or use Global Doors again and urge potential customers to heed this warning.

Slight delay as the new door was incorrectly delivered by the manufacturer to a depot too far away so it was not possible to fit on the Monday. This was quickly sorted out by Global who re-arranged for the door to be fitted a few days later on the Friday. The fitters from Martindales were punctual, tidy and worked very hard to remove a solid steel door frame and replace it with the new set, I am really pleased with the colour choices in fire doors at Global as most companies only offer fire doors in a few basic colours and I wanted Chartwell Green. Easy to use website and pleasant to deal with.
