I love coming here for a walk each day, perfect for dog walkers and a picnic! My girlfriend and I love spending time here and watching the sunset in the wide open space:)

Beautiful place for a walk, a lovely natural area with flourishing wildlife . Has a short path along the north side, other paths are just mud/grass but well trodden. Perfect for a dog walk with a combination of wooded areas, open fields and lots of sections to explore.

This is a beautiful place to wander among fields with old hedges and wonderful old trees. Loads of birds and wildlife to spot. So peaceful a great lift to the soul and spirit. Plenty of space to wander without getting crowded as there are so many different paths, some of which have been there over 30 years to my knowledge as we have walked along them so often. Come and enjoy this hidden heaven.

Vast green space far from the madding crowd. Plenty of entrances, good walkable paths, a nature reserve in one corner, good range of flora and fauna. Surprised how secluded and hidden it is for such a big space. Also it's not a golf course now, was a golf course once.

The old Western Golf Course - a beautiful oasis surrounded by suburbia. We've walked it every day for 26 years and there's always something to see. Over these old fairways buzzards lord the skies, circling endlessly. A rich diversity of wildlife and fauna have made this their home. As the last remaining large green space in the Glenfield area, it is a haven for walkers. I can only hope the planners can see that this landscape is exceptional and save it as the Country Park it should be. Frith Park perhaps.

I'm not sure to which council it belongs, but it looks abandoned, we pay so much for council, and they can't turn it into a proper park? Every council has a park but not Glenfield....

horrible place to walk, smells definitely would never recommend this place to walk
