Guys! Whats going on with this place!? It's the second time I've visited this cafe in Market Square. It feels like a sad, abandoned shop in what is generally a very cool, new development. There is barely any food, bar a few sad looking old pastries and a bright pink piece of cake, which I think was there last week too. The hot chocolate we ordered came 15 min later (even though there were only 5 ppl in there) and it tasted like a barely warm glass of milk w zero chocolate. The coffee is scolding hot. The cups have not been cleared from the last hour. It's a big hot mess in what should be an excellent, happening cafe in a cool space.

Very nice coffee and tea selections and good prices. The coffee is light but strong with complex flavour, enough so that I skipped my usual sugar addition since it was so good! There’s also some nice cake and sandwich options available, with interior or exterior seating, and takeaway, available.It’s nicely decorated and clean, and although it’s off the beaten path a little, and the surrounding area isn’t the prettiest sight; it’s worth a visit for a great coffee.

I WISH this place was better than it is. No food in the glass cabinets, always a few lonely cakes. No atmosphere. Plastic laminated wood tables. Average coffee. It seems like they are just capitalizing on the parents and co-workers in this block that have no other place to go as it’s the only cafe in the area. It’s a lovely establishment though. Could be really great!

This is one of the nicest places I've been for a cuppa. Located by the beach. Nice undercover seating with benches and heated lamps. Don't be put off by the location especially with the Brighton winter weather. The friendly staff, great hot drinks and yummy homemade cake, its so worth a step away from the business of the city and have some downtime.

The coffee was amazing!! It was soooooo silky smooth, thick and just the best. Someone recommended it to me and I can definitely see why!I really like how the coffee is a suitable temperature and you can drink it straight away, unlike coffee from places like Costa where it's really hot and you need to wait for it to cool down.If you add a shot of vanilla syrup, the vanilla taste really comes through or if with the gingerbread syrup it just makes it taste sweet which is amazing. Definitely recommend these guys :)

Like many other people I'm sure, we bought ourselves a proper coffee machine (Sage Barista) in lockdown so that we could still get our coffee fix. We tried a few local roasters where we live in Nottingham but never found that perfect blend. A friend of mine recommended White Cloud and specifically their Desk Jockey Blend. I ordered some in June 2020 and have been hooked ever since. I've experimented with a few other roasters in the meantime but nothing has come close in terms of the smooth, nutty taste and the value for money. In addition to their excellent coffee, Craig and Phil were a great help when I was learning to use the new coffee machine and gave me loads of great tips to improve my coffee making. I wish I lived closer to Brighton so that I could try out their cafe. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely pay them a visit.

This site is being taken over at present, yet they still serve amazing coffee and it’s a true hidden gem!

Step into the White Cloud Coffee Shop, and you'll immediately be greeted by a staff that exudes an air of pretentiousness and a pace that could rival a snail's crawl. It's as if their mere presence within those walls is a bestowed blessing upon the entire world. While their self-importance may be amusing to some, it quickly becomes frustrating when you're desperately in need of your caffeine fix.Speaking of which, let's talk about the coffee. Oh, where do I begin? The quality of the coffee at White Cloud is nothing short of disappointing. During my visit, I ordered an iced latte with the hopes of a revitalizing jolt of energy. Alas, the experience left me wanting more. In fact, it left me questioning whether there was any coffee in my cup at all. The feeble attempt at delivering a punch of flavor fell flat, and I was left with a beverage that was mostly milk, lacking the robust taste that a good latte should possess.Now, let's address the elephant in the room— the prices. White Cloud seems to have a knack for charging exorbitant amounts for a subpar product and lackluster service. I was astounded to find that a large latte, which amounted to little more than a cup of milk with a sprinkle of coffee essence, cost a staggering £6. It's hard to comprehend how they justify such inflated prices for an experience that fails to live up to expectations. It's as if they believe they're serving liquid gold, when in reality, it's far from it.Overall, my visit to White Cloud Coffee Shop left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, and it wasn't just from the coffee. The combination of a self-important staff, lackluster coffee, and astronomical prices made for an underwhelming experience. If you're looking for quality coffee, genuine service, and reasonable prices, I suggest you look elsewhere. There are far better options available that won't leave your wallet feeling drained and your taste buds unfulfilled.

My favourite coffee shop in Brighton and fantastic seafront location.Delicious coffee and lovely staff have kept us going throughout some chilly winter walks and been a very welcome treat post bike ride! Great set up taking into account COVID restrictions, feeling both safe and super welcoming with outdoor ordering and take away.Excellent and gloriously tasty non-dairy alternatives too which are a massive win - Love this place!

Super lovely vibe in here and there are disabled toilets. Please support this business as they are very hidden away and the staff in here are lovely.
