Jumbo R2 Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

Today our second child was born, as neither me or the wife would want to cook when we came back from hospital, we sat in the ward and decided to order a take away for the evening.A complete error on my side and I ordered it to be delivered at 5pm instead of 8pm. Without realising, Carly went to deliver and of course nobody home.Carly was so lovely about it and said it’s no problem we understand, we will re-deliver with a fresh batch this evening. I then had to message later in the evening that we would be delayed. This was no problem again and Carly came out and delivered later than expected that night with a warm smile and a congratulations.Fantastic service. Went well above.The food was also great, it’s the first time we have ordered food from here and it certainly won’t be the last. Full of flavour and piping hot on delivery. The biggest chicken balls I’ve had! ;) (see photo). Next time I’ll dig deeper into the menu because there is a wealth of choice and I can see specials on there that I’ve had in China.Highly recommended

Not great at all, beef tai curry tasted like it was mixed with soap and tones of salt, duck was definitely heated from frozen and so was the rice, i should have figured that from the get go as it only took 10mins to get delivered. would not recommend at all. im pretty upset i wasted my money

Visiting my parents locally and I always hope they suggest a Chinese takeaway as this is THE best Chinese I've had. Food is fresh and piping hot. We collected from the shop, friendly staff with a comfortable waiting area. Portions are very generous, I just wish they had a branch in my current city of residence in Dorset!

It's a decent Chinese takeaway. We use once a month or so and the food is always pretty constant. Always try to order something different each time and we've never been disappointed. By far the best in the area.

New Management took it over 1 year ago (2018) and the food is very niceNot sure of many takeaways around here (as not from the local area) but went there as it was listed on google as a Chinese restaurant, ordered takeaway but you can sit in if you like as there are tables.Very quick to cook considering we ordered for 3 people.slightly pricey but would order again.100% would recommend if you want a quick, nice tasting Chinese.Not very easy to find as the building doesn't have a sign due to being grade listed (a bit of a shame as they could do with some advertising) but they are by the Lloyds bank if you can't find them.

Was very skeptical after it got rebranded but thought I'd try it as everywhere else is shut due to corona.Food was great. Hot and tasted clean and fresh.Great menu with lots of choicesDelivery guy was nice and on time.A bit more expensive than most places but I'll definitely be ordering from here again. I won't be going back to the usual spots!!

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes. Cold food. Inedible. Order was incomplete. Chinese manager/owner wanted nothing to do with this and hung up. Stay away from this place.

Cold food delivered after 1hour waiting and dishes missing which we were expected to accept 23mins later and had to pay for. These late dishes were sent back as inedible and phoned to explained so not to offend, only to be greeted by rude owners with a cannot care attitude. Feel sorry for the employees as those we encountered were decent and gave good customer service but were let down by management. Used this establishment previously with a few issues which we ignored but will no longer be using them any more. Stay away

Can be a bit pricy, but we'll worth it. Best Chinese meal in a long time.
