Would not recommend them. used them for sale of flat to a cash buyer, they were very slow with no communication, I had to keep chasing them up.After I complained, the Director at Sandown office took over, and was not much better! In fact she came across as quite condescending

Jeromes – Where do I start..New to the Isle of wight so I thought we'd go local.Moving house and family death I think we all agree are very stressful.We instructed Jeromes after a pleasant phone call to purchase our Aunts house from Probate.They gave an initial estimated time of 15 weeks. After 3 weeks had passed, I chased. No one answered nor returned my calls. I then emailed to receive a (Short staff due to Covid generic email) Ok we are in unprecedented times, so I left it a further 2 weeks. I then managed to get through to someone after several attempts (Get the theme, hard to contact them), I asked for someone to call me back as I am nervous it’s been 5+ weeks with no communication, and they finally phoned back to say that our solicitor has left and the director would be taking over. I asked again about dates and the lady flippantly replied “All dates are out of the window at the moment”.WELL “My mortgage and builders are time bound”. Nothing again for another week. I called again and the same lady said, “I shall find out for you now”. Well….. After an hour or so we had an email saying “Due to the level of business and staff shortages we are unable to act as your solicitors”No suggestion of other solicitors or other advice.They are slow, do not care for their clients and in my personal opinion (The most unprofessional solicitors I have ever dealt with)You can use mainland solicitors (That's what we have now done, go back to whom I've used before)

I have used Jeromes in Sandown for over 20 years, very approachable and local.

I fixed Voip phone system and broadband here last week.I found the staff to be pleasant and payment was prompt the next day of invoice.
