Usually a pleasant experience here but not today, new “system” of sending everybody to a computer screen not ideal and people walking out because of it , hope customer service improves with the small number of staff who have a don’t want to be here attitude

Visited recently as needed to remove a light fitting and make the the wire safe.The guy behind the counter was completely useless, had no idea about any items stocked, or able to give any advice. Only recommendation he gave was to view website and tell him the part number..Otherwise place is quick, once you say what you need it is picked pretty quick.I'm sure it's a a great place for anyone in the trade..but not so much for general public.

Appalling!!! Paid online for two items for same day job, but one wasn't in stock - so had to purchase elsewhere! No advice on refund and seemingly no way to even try and get money back for product paid for but not actually available!!!!

Placed an order for next day delivery to store, received a phone call to say it hasn’t arrived and they will re order the item. Next day came still haven’t received the item.. phoned head office to see what was happening turned out they never re ordered the item so head office said they would reorder for me to then find out they’ve refunded me.Honestly Screwfix I don’t think you’re staff in you’re stores or warehouse have a clue. Absolutely rubbish.

On a recent visit to the Marsh Barton branch I can only say that I was served by the rudest female assistant that I’ve ever come across. There was an error with my collection so I was trying to explain but she was rude and unwilling to listen. To say that she was miserable and unhelpful is an understatement!I was shocked with her rudeness because the rest of the staff are fantastic. I will continue using the branch but hope I do not ever get served by her again!
