The Four In Hand
It was good to be back after examount of years. .The Atmosphere didn't have a good vibe but would it be my father's birthday. I made sure that me my family had a good time.Staff were OK but didn't seem to be happy enough to be at work. But still helpful.

The Four In Hand
The four in hand is a large pub with a big single room and plenty of tables and seating. There is also a recently refurbished bar and games room, with darts a pool table and an internet jukebox which can be played from your phone if you have the touchtunes app. A covered outdoor smoking area is accessed from this room. The Food menu is good I've had quite a few meals here and I have never been disappointed. The only downside is sadly there is no hand-pulled real ale on offer. The bar is dog friendly.

The Four In Hand
Been to four in hand so many times over the years and always enjoyed it but today was not great. We had to wait over an hour and a half for food. We weren't told about the wait in the first place. We were a on a table for fourteen so I appreciate it's not easy but two of us were served quickly then the rest had to wait. The girl serving was apologetic when we told her but it's down to bad management in my opinion. The food was delicious when it finally arrived but we all had to rush it down it was late. All in all, I think I'll give it a miss for now

Normally a regular customer here but after dining on Sunday and myself and someone else in the group who ate here both having the clucking hot stack chicken burger coming down with food poisoning , I am hesitant to return. Food arrived suspiciously quickly compared to other times we have ate here but now after two of us having food poisoning I realise it probably wasn't cooked correctly. Tried calling multiple times to resolve the issue with no answer

Went there with my mum and had a beautiful steak and rib combo . I never finish my food but I ate every single bit . And the desserts are absolutely amazing too. Highly recommend this place ☺️

Pub closes at 11pm.Food served until approx 9pm I believe.Looked on menu and it suggested a hot drink to finish off your meal. So I left the cappuccino order until I had finished my meal only to be told the machine has just been turn off to rinse so cappuccinos are not available after this time :730pm.I was offered a normal coffee which I declined.Food served was good, it's a shame they fail to mention that cappuccinos are not served to finish off your meal before you order the meal despite it being over an hour before the end of meal times and over 3 hours until the pub closes.I assumed cappuccino was still available until late or at least until I had finished my meal.I won't be visiting again.

The Four In Hand
Upon entering the restaurant was clean and well presented. Staff were welcoming. upon approaching a member of staff they were very helpful with allergen information, giving me a tablet to select allergens which showed me what was okay to order. There was a risk of cross contamination which I was made aware of upon ordering.Food came sizzling, well cooked, and was very tasty! The lemon in the chicken really came through. The vegetables had the right amount of bite. Very satisfying.

I ordered a hunters chicken meal, takeaway. The chips were like yesterdays. They were too hard to eat. The chicken was burnt, we often come here as a family. But won’t be again after this experience. I tried ringing to resolve the issue but no answer.
