Berry Head Car Park
There is quite a windy narrow road to get to the car park, at peak time I imagine this would be quite stressful to drive through with our experience of the newer more expensive cars pushing you over into the bushes resulting in scratches along the paint work! The pay machine worked ok but you always have in the back of your mind that you will get fined at some point. Be careful when typing in your number. I pressed M it highlighted M but N appeared in the display, this happened a number of times…

Do not use this car park, they charged us a fine even though we paid, its common that there machines often fail. The £110 fine is not work the day out. They doubled our fine before we even got the letter. Absolutely shocked and furious. The when we tried to appeal, they completely ignored us. I wish i could score minus stars!!!

Berry Head Car Park
Some amazing views from the lighthouse with a little bit more history of the forts that were there. It has a cafe should you want food and drink. Good walking area but just needed a few more bins for rubbish, not just dog waste. There is a toilet at the car park.

Berry Head Car Park
We thought the area and views were beautiful. However trying to pay for parking was not a pleasant experience! The machine didn't recognise my number plate on my first attempt. I tried again and have an honest answer about my length of stay (less than an hour) and duly paid up my £1.20. I tried to print out a receipt but no luck there either. I understand that in theory this system is meant to be more efficient and effective, but it is to the detriment of my blood pressure rising while trying to do the right thing!

Berry Head Car Park
The best car park to visit Berry Head. I always park here as it's a 24 hour car park. Within short walking distance, you can get to the Fort or take the lane down to quarry where there are amazing fishing and cliff diving spots. If you go towards the the right from the car park and take the footpath through bushes towards the caravan site, you can get to a beautiful place looking down on cliffs and water. Also, an amazing cliff diving spot.

Everything was well until you go & pay. Said I had to pay £6.00 Paid but no receipt. Tried paying in different car park the following day & I was not allowed to use bank card as I had been banned from not paying the bill at berryhead NIGHTMARE. Tried to ring number no one answered. Emailed them no reply.

Great place to park and then take a walk around Berry Head and the two forts and pop in to the Guard House cafe for tea or coffee a lovely way to spend your day.

Berry Head Car Park
It is a place to park your car. Nothing grand. ANPR in operation so make sure you pay if you park. You do get some time free if you leave quickly. Limited spaces but they open a field at peak season.
