Good service from Steven Bigger and manager Paul. Courteous and friendly. A fair deal without any awkward haggling. Just two minor points, and they are minor, the valet could have been better as the new (to me) car had a few marks inside and missed bits on outside wash. It would also be good to offered mats for the car if not included. However the service was polite. I was sent a video of the car which helped and the online finance worked well. Having bought a few cars over the years this was the least stressful. Thank you.

Firstly - give yourself a laugh and read the idiotic reply to my review!! These fools have numerous emails from me but yet refuse to pay their bills. Then they ask for feedback!! What an absolute joke of a company to deal with.Original review:Cannot recommend this place to anyone, sorry.Firstly, Pat who sold us the car was professional from start to finish and explained everything in detail. Pat gets 5 stars.Aftersales and workshop - 1 star, awful service.Bought the car in December and asked for some things to be sorted before we collected it. It was agreed that a week was enough.1) They had changed 1 rear tyre and left the other with less than 50% grip on the car. Car was on the forecourt in this condition and considered acceptable for sale?? Requested this to be changed, it was done but wheel was not balanced. I needed to get both rear wheels balanced myself after collection.2) cigarettes left in the sunglasses holder - car had obviously not been properly valeted.3) soundproofing removed from behind engine. Was told it would be put right. It wasn't touched by the garage. I said I'd get it done and backcharge.4) rear vent broken. Was told it would be fixed. Again, they never touched it.5) 1 front tyre found to be dangerously damaged on the side wall after purchase. I missed this before the sale but a garage that either misses this or ignores it is not fit to be in the motor trade. I had to spend 300 euro on 2 new front tyres as a result! Also got the alignment done as tyres were wearing unevenly.6) Brought the car to local SEAT dealer to get items priced. Over 300 euro for issues excluding dangerous tyres I'd already changed. Charles Hurst agreed to cover this bill for us.7) Brake fluid was due to be changed before sale, due to mileage but again was not done by Charles Hurst Used Direct.I went away for work and ended up getting issues sorted in May this year and purchased the parts cheaper and fitted myself, saving them 200 euro. I'm now told that my labour won't be paid, only the parts. If you continue that sully charade I will remove the parts and get SEAT to do it and charge you the full price??Been shoved over and back between 4 people now over a silly 100 euro bill that could have cost them 300 and its still unpaid in August.Buyer beware! If they cannot fix obvious vehicle flaws and dangerous tyres, what else have they not done??3 cars in out house and can honestly say we will never darken your door again when it's time to change.

I arrived at the showroom and straight away Gary Daly came and spoke to me. I was so nervous having never bought a car myself. Gary was so friendly and understanding of my circumstances. I knew within a couple minutes that I could really trust him, my daughters felt the same way. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. I would recommend anyone looking for a new/used car to go and see Gary. I left today with my dream car and am totally satisfied with the service I received.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Peter who serviced my car. He went above and beyond with an issue I had and couldn’t have been more helpful! Highly recommend!

These guys were very helpful. Up until the point of sale of course. Their after care has been absolutely dreadful. Car was bought in March but they are yet to provide us with the correct documentation almost 3 months later. Initial sales person blamed 'the other garage' and when it went past a month understood my frustration and escalated it to his manager. At last the first guy returned calls, the manager never does despite numerous attempts. Is always in a meeting and must never read the emails other staff send him. My next step will be contacting the finance company as I would imagine they are in breach of contract. Sign nothing with these guys until you have 100% confirmation they have all the correct documentation. As once they get paid you'll only be an inconvenience.

Myself and my partner have purchased 4 cars from Charles Hurst over a period of 8 years. With each year that passes I forget how horribly incompetent the service and sales team are. Never again. Most recently, I had to hand a car back (countless faults and issues) and buy a more expensive replacement (my trade in was already sold on). I’m thousands of pounds out of pocket due to Charles Hurst being unable to diagnose faults, fix faults, reply to emails/phone calls, taking days off work etc etc.I have had my replacement car for 5 months now and have just forked out another £300 due to brakes being installed improperly.

I recently bought a Car at Charles Hurst in Belfast and it was a smooth process from beginning to end. I couldn’t pick up the car because it was quite a journey but it got out on a trailer and delivered to me in London. I would like to give a high praise to Andrew Donaghey at Belfast not only was he genuine but also a true professional. He answered all questions and he made everything happen smoothly. Everything was handled over the phone and my car was delivered earlier than even expected! I would highly recommend them and if i could give a 100 stars i would. Thank you Andrew and Belfast for making this happen for me. I’m happy with my new car. Great experience!

Purchased a 2018 Skoda Karoq on 18/10/2023 from Used Direct (Jason Madden & assisted by Nicola Anderson in Finance team). Used Direct was the first place we visited and because of the experience received in that one visit, we didn't go anywhere else on our list of sellers.I made an enquiry on a Thursday night and by close of business Friday after only one visit we agreed to buy. The whole process from start to finish was simple, quick & a real pleasure. Credit to Jason Madden who had all the time in the world for our many questions and done everything he possibly could to help us out.Car buying is notoriously pushy and a bit of a daunting experience for many people but Jason's approach was relaxed and patient, which when paired with his excellent knowledge too and eagerness to help on the spot, has really changed our opinion on car buying.Nicola also deserves a mention, she was great. I had several queries about running the numbers" and even I felt like I was being a bit of a pain

These guys are just fab, very friendly, helpful and professional. A big shout out to Andrew Halfpenny for arranging a test drive asap & Jack Graham who I had the pleasure of dealing with the remainder of my time whilst purchasing my dream car. They have both been amazing from start to finish and could not of done it without you.Everyone else in the showroom was pleasant and courteous to myself & my husband. I do not recommend ... the car was purchased with hidden defects that no one informed us about ... unprofessional service ... we waited 1.5 years for the plates to be changed ... lack of responsibility and professionalism ... I do not recommend buying a car in Usedirect. Waiting for solve problems. If it's happen I'll change my comments. So far 1* can't give 0.
