We keep returning to The Lighthouse as they always have what we need, the lighting range is excellent and Jonathan's advice is creative and practical. We are lucky to have this exceptional independent lighting shop on our doorstep and it also beats the other online options.

We recently returned to The Light House after previously purchasing a light from Jonathan two years ago and he remembered us! Visited this shop today and found a great display of lighting which I hadn't seen elsewhere. I found the light I had been looking for and the price was great! I have a quality light for my living room. The service by the owner was outstanding with a superb knowledge of all the products and nothing was too much trouble. My partner and I will definitely make the journey to Shrewsbury again. We will be recommending The Lighthouse to all our friends!

We bought some pendant lights from Jonathan following a visit to this lovely shop. He was extremely helpful and patient and helped us to select the correct lights and bulbs to suit the position the lights were going to be placed. We later returned and bought six bedside lights which although inexpensive were much better than ones we had originally bought on line from Amazon. Jonathan also checks all lights to ensure they are of a suitable quality for his customers. As a result we then bought some wall lights from the on line area on his website! Suffice to say we have loved our experience and have excellent products from a local retailer. Further to this our electrician broke one of the original shades and then ordered the wrong one. We spoke with Jonathan who worked with us to replace the shade and ensure everything was right for us. Highly recommend this retailer and although the shop looks small from the outside, it does have an upstairs section and the shop goes back a long way!
