Such a helpful shop. Nothing too much trouble. Prices are reasonable too. Repairs are excellent. Can highly recommend them and they gave a good range of jewelry in various price ranges. Something for everyone.

Both my partner and I took our watches here at separate times, to have 1 link removed from the strap. It was done beautifully, but they removed a link from the shortest strap, so when we wear our watches you can see the fastening at the side of my wrist. Both of us haven’t a clue why this is done that way. A little disappointed as we chose to go local rather than town. I do agree with other reviews about the lack of customer service as when I took my watch in I stood around for ages waiting for help but when my partner walked in they went up to him straight away. Very off putting. Won’t be returning.

Fantastic jewellers! The ladies in the shop are all so lovely.My daughter wanted her ears pierced but had been really nervous about it. Everyone made her feel so comfortable and at ease. She was made to feel so special, the ladies spoke to her directly as well as myself. She got to choose her own earrings and had everything explained to her, she felt so grown up and really enjoyed the whole experience. They have some beautiful earrings to choose from and the entire process was quick and simple. No tears but lots of smiles.Thank you, you've made her day!

I have to say I was very disappointed with the service at this shop. I have bought items from here before and they are lovely, however I wanted to have some very sentimental rings melted down and redesigned for me to wear.I went into the shop for advice and didn't really get a lot of advice other than well we can do what ever you want. (I had no idea what I wanted and was expecting the help and expertise of the jewellers) I explained I had a budget in mind which was still substantial. I was happy to pay between £500 and £750. I explained this and after visiting the shop several times the staff shown me a ring off the shelf which I really liked and then quoted me £1200! Even though they knew my budget. These rings were my late mum, dad's and grandmas. I explained how shocked I was at the price so eventually I got a basic sketch of something that could be done for £500. This was not just about the money it was a big decision for me to have this done. At no point did I get to meet the lady that would be doing this and was made to feel that because I had a budget they were not really interested. I took my business elsewhere and the customer service was second to none they took time to sit down with me and go through options and after several visits I came out with 4 beautiful stacking rings. Totally different to the poor service I received from Barry Botts.

My daughter just had her ears pierced at Barry Bott. What a fantastic experience. The staff are super friendly & professional. The assistant spent along time getting the position just right which due to bad positioning of 1st piercing (done at a different place ) was not easy. They did a beautiful job. My daughter is chuffed to bits with no pain or fuss. Highly recommended.

Professional, helpful, well laid out and a good array of affordable gifts. We have shopped here over the years and have never been disappointed. Today was just a battery fix for my watch.
