Apple Tree Montessori Nursery School

I have two children at Apple Tree nursery and I can’t rate them enough. Dani, Maria and Maxine are all incredibly friendly, approachable and caring with our children. My little ones talk about them and the activities they do with them with such pride and happiness. My boys were quite shy after the pandemic hit and we have really noticed a difference in their confidence, speech and how independent they are becoming since joining Apple Tree. Thank you girls for making our boys feel so at home.

My son Austin started at Apple Tree in Saltdean in September at just 6 months old. He has always been quite a clingy baby and takes quite a lot of time to settle with people he doesn't know. The staff at Apple Tree have been fantastic! They settled him really quickly and he always comes home very happy and gurgles all the way home. They have supported his development and although only 9 months old is close to walking already. I cannot rate the team highly enough, they have both my son and daughter with them each week and they have both blossomed!

Good nursery for our 3 year old boy. He has learned so much in the past 6 months. Dani is a marvellous manager, we are lucky that our little one is taught by her. Good opening times (8am till 6pm) and convenient for working parents. Downside is that no food is provided for main meals but snacks are offered.

My little boy has flourished since joining apple tree. He has become so much more independent and I’ve noticed his manners have also greatly improved due to the Montessori approach regarding ‘grace and courtesies’. He loves the staff so much and talks about them all the time. Every morning he asks if we’re going to Apple tree and when I say yes he is so excited and can’t get out the door quick enough. The staff are so nurturing and kind and take time to get to know every child individually. Dani is so approachable and runs the nursery to a very high standard. Maxine and Maria are also exceptional and amazing at their jobs. I never have any worries when I drop Freddie off because I know he’s well looked after and going to have an amazing day. The team have helped my son settle really well, at a time when he was already going through a lot of change. They have been so understanding and supportive of everything. It's so comforting dropping him off at a place you have full trust in. Can't rate highly enough.

Apple Tree in Saltdean has been fantastic for my little one. Every single member of the staff are so positive and friendly, you can see how they really care and enjoy being with the children. My son settled in really quickly and has learned so many new skills since joining. We couldn't be happier!

We sent our son to the nursery Monday to Thursday since it started in April. It is definitely one of the best decisions we have made for him. He has been such a happy boy ever since he joined Apple tree. We could feel the 100% love from the teachers to the children. My son has certainly grown so much in the past few months via playing and learning from his teachers and nursery friends through daily activities. Every time I ask him whether he wants to go to nursery, the answer is yes.:) He told me he loves all the teachers and his friends. It makes us feel so lucky and so grateful as parents to the teachers. We are lucky to have such a good nursery in our neighbourhood.

My son has been attending Apple Tree nursery, Oval park, Saltdean from November 2021. The staff are very professional and accommodating.They form a strong 1-1 relationship with the kids which I think is very important for their growth.They go above and beyond in accommodating requests and understand parents very well.First time around when my son started going to the nursery, I was very anxious how he would fit in.The staff were kind and reassured me by sending texts about how he is doing. I think it’s these small things which stand out and increase my confidence on them.Thanks for keeping up the great work, Dani and the team!

Our son has been attending Apple Tree for almost a year now and he absolutely loves it. His communication skills improved so much and he is becoming more and more independent. As a first time parents we were a bit anxious about being away from our child, but he was very happy and was obvious that he is getting so much attention and care. Teachers are professional, caring and reliable, also easy to talk to them about our concerns. In total, we could not be more happy.

My daughter started here just before she turned 4. She has learned so much and become more focused on developing her own learning since being in the Montessori environment. The teachers are very approachable and give a very detailed overview of her daily activities. There is also an electronic portal you can view your child’s progress and activities on. A fantastic setting.
