Lessons are very good - attention to detail really helps to improve playing while a wide range of pieces and approaches helps to create a fun and enjoyable experience. :)

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with Lynne before the commencement of the lesson. This is why we have never rebooked. Whilst, Lynne was okay with my daughter during the lesson, prior to coming she was rude and impatient. We struggled to find Lynne's house and she was so impatient and rude to us that she made my 6 year old daughter cry outside her house. This was the first and last lesson. To anyone else offering customer service, if you provide a negative experience you will receive negative reviews. This is important so people are not fooled.

Lynne has been my piano teacher for about 18 months. I started with her as an absolute beginner and can’t believe how much progress I have made. I am reading music and playing at Grade 1 level- which for me, with no musical background, is fantastic. She is very patient, friendly and thorough. I have always found her to be accommodating when trying to schedule lessons and she is not a clock watcher! Sometimes lessons run over because she has been keen to complete things.I noticed a 1 star review and just cannot understand this. Lynne is a talented pianist, she teaches correct technique and timing- important if someone wants to sit exams. When I make mistakes- which is often- she helps in a constructive way and always emphasises the positives. I always look forward to my lessons as they are so helpful.Finally, I would highly recommend Lynne to any adult or child keen to learn piano.

I think that Lynne Lewis is an amazing piano teacher and gives great technique. I would highly recommend her to anybody who is thinking about starting piano or singing lessons. EllieA

Lynne is a fantastic piano teacher for all ages and abilities. Lynne provides students with a strong foundation of technique, theory and skill allowing the student to stand on their own two feet and progress as a classical musician rather than just being guided through the learning process.

Lynne has been teaching our daughter for about a year and Iona loves her lessons. I've noticed a real improvement in her playing and she's keen to practise too. I would highly recommend Lynne to anyone looking for lessons

This is Erin kerr but can't seem to post under my name! Technology, eh?!I came back to Lynne's lessons after 20 years as I knew she would be as enthusiastic, patient and pleasant as she always was and, of course, I have not been disappointed. I wish I had never given up as a 16 year old! But Lynne's attention to detail is bringing me on well, despite not being able to practise as much as I'd like!

My daughter took lessons and because of Lynne's excellent approach to teaching, excelled in her music exams. My wife now takes lessons which she thoroughly enjoys. My wife and daughter cannot recommend her highly enough, particularly for her professionalism, warmth and patience.
