Whitby barbers

Have been coming for the last year but have had a few bad experiences recently which has meant I won't return even though they are very close to where I live .First example I turned up in the morning and had to wait as they opened 45 minutes late.Second time a long wait whilst one of the barbers spent more time on his phone and playing with the TV than cutting the hair of the customers infront of me.Today I arrived with one staff member in the shop and a few people in front of me. I asked if there are any other staff cong soon and he said several times his colleague was about to arrive and he didn't. Waited over an hour in the end. This has happened a few times now and the lack of communication and urgency to/for customers is disappointing.They seem like nice guys and the hair cuts aren't bad but the wait times are unacceptable for me.A bit of a rant but my honest experience.Bottom line I would advise to avoid if you don't want to risk waiting an hour or more for a hair cut.

One of the best Barbers I've been to in ages. Great service, really pleasant staff, topped off with a hot towel and a lovely hot Moroccan coffee. A great Sunday morning. Will be my go to from now on.

I regularly come here for haircuts. Best prices in greater London and they have a loyalty stamp card. They don't take bookings, but if you avoid the busy times the wait isn't too bad. They are very detailed in cutting hair and work until it's perfect.

Can’t even open on time, waiting outside in the rain and after 20 minutes still nobody shows up. Being such a busy time of year you would expect businesses to be sharp with their service to secure long-term customers, but clearly this is not the case. I have been here before and had to wait over an hour due to lack of staffing, maybe that will be the same excuse for not opening up on time today, either way, I will not be going back and would suggest you go elsewhere too.

Amazing service and very professional barbers

Worst skin fade I have ever had. Absolutely dreadful and embarrassing haircut. The positive reviews are only about the one guy who cuts at the first chair. The others are dreadful. Do not go here.

Great service and friendly chaps at this establishment.They've done a great job cutting my hair and for pricing it beats the other competitors.The venue is nice and spacious. Lots of seating area if they're busy.Still going to them it's been over 4 years.

Cheap barbers, £10 cut, £15 skin fade.You get what you pay for, buzz cut is fine anything more complicated I wouldn't recommend.Lack of communication but they did try to fix the problem when I returned.

I went on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy - didn't have to wait. Clipper cut was very quick and neat and good price. Free parking outside is great too. Only reason I didn't give the full five stars was that it didn't feel quite as covid-secure" as my previous barbers as there were no perspex screens and not everyone wore face coverings all the time
