Nice fishery. Well kept with hard fighting carp in great condition. Only drawback are electric gate that open and close at certain times so once you are in its difficult to leave if needed.

No were I will return to, unkempt and too many pegs, colour of hot chocolate, far too much silt throughout the water column, aerators on 24/7 too expensive for what it is, i can spend the same money and fish horseshoe for the same time no contest for me I'm afraid.

A great place to bag a twenty, good toilets and access to swims. A bit crowded when I went last week, I only had a choice of two swims. I don't like the electric gates as it means you only have a half hour window from 7:30 until 8:00 morning and evening to arrive or leave. I booked for twenty four hours from 20:00 but left at 08:00 although I would have stayed to mid day if it wasn't for the gates. Still love fishing there though.

Lovely place to fish. Caught my pb here on 12th March 2023. 28 pound common carp. I called it spot as black mark on left side. Will definitely fish this lake again.

Spent 48 hours here and the fishing was good. All the banks are clean and the fishery appears well maintained, also the stock seems quite large and goes up to 36lb at the time of writing this. Access is quite easy with it not being far from the main road through Crediton. Large car park and good pathways throughout but the banks are quite hard for bivvy pegs. Will deffo go again as the only thing stopping this being 5 stars is the booking system. Fish in pic was the biggest of the trip @25lb 2oz
