Glencoe Kennels and Cattery

Hugo came here for a little holiday while we got married and he absolutely loved it...looking forward to bringing him for his next holiday. they were so kind and lovely with him xx

We were very apprehensive about leaving Smudge as he has anxiety issues. The fact that Glencoe posts photos everyday sort of put our apprehension at ease. How wrong we were! As the saying goes a picture paints a thousand words! When I left Smudge I discussed his routine with the lady. Explained about his anxiety and why he has an anxiety top. I also showed her his clean clothes and pyjamas. Explained about his 3 treats at around 2.00pm everyday and his dental stick at bedtime. I provided his treats but surprisingly one unopened packet of treats came home and a full unopened packet of dental sticks came home. On collection of Smudge we were disgusted! Smudge was filthy and smelly. His anxiety coat was filthy and I had to bleach it and wash it 2.There are still some stains on it. His bed was filthy and smelly and his blanket was urine sodden.I contacted Glencoe to discuss these issues. Unsurprisingly I did not get the truth. Firstly the lady said she was not aware about his clean clothes. I then said so he has been in these filthy clothes all week? She then said she tried to change him but he shyd away from her. I then reminded her that she said she did not know about his clean clothes. She confirmed this. I asked why his bed had not been cleaned. She said she had not put it into wash. I also question about his urine sodden blanket. She said he must have done it the night before we collected him. Smudge has never urinated on his blanket or bed. Even if he did he should not have to sleep in dirty clothes dirty bed and urine sodden blankets.I will not leave Smudge here ever again. Very disappointed

Our dog Tess stayed for 2 weeks for the first time , she has loved it , thankyou to glencoe staff for looking and caring for her and the daily pictures of her will definitely reccomend your kennels thankyou againTracey

We have been coming to Glencoe for a number of years to board our dogs. When Kath decided to retire we wondered how the new owners would be. Well as soon as we met Lesley and Kerri we could tell straight away they were fellow dog lovers.We are always very happy to bring our two fur babies to Glencoe as we can be assured they will be loved and spoilt to bits. They always manage to find the time for a play or a cuddle in their busy days.We look forward to bringing Max and Ollie many times in the future.

My pup has just spent 7 days here. He’s never been in kennels before so we were a little apprehensive, but our apprehension was short lived! From day one, he has mingled with other pups and has absolutely loved every minute. They are a fantastic team and put 100% into your fur babies. Will absolutely use again. Thank you so much for Coopers stay and we will see you again without a doubt.

My little chihuaha absolutely loves going to Glencoe, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for day care or boarding for their dog or cat.

Bonnie and Buster had the best time, it can be worrying and hard work finding places to have them as Busters reactive to other dogs and has medical conditions. However I can tell they've had a fantastic time, we got photos every day that put our minds at ease. Staff all knew them and listened to our instructions (Buster can't be walked on normal collar and limited excercise due to a larynx tie-back operation). Believe theyve had as much as a holiday as us! Thank you again, we'll be back :)

A big thank you to Glencoe - Nothing was too much to ask and they were incredibly helpful to me and my dog Casper. Lesley and the team were fantastic. Highly recommended!
