Service was fabulous, the man was very friendly and helped us with the food and payments for eating in.I had a Ramen Meal Deal which was served with gyoza and a soft drink. Food was delicious! They also do 10% student discount for purchases, therefore make sure to have it ready if you are a student!

Great convenient location right in front of Waitrose. Tables and chairs in a spacious hallway from the door and not too busy here. I love getting some snacks and hot food for a quick dinner. They do loyalty cards for over £10 purchase.

First time I went to this place. I have to say the layout and nostalgic vibe is worth a star increase on its own. Really unique and totally Japan. As for the food, I tried the tempura prawn donburi and I was, let’s say, quite disappointed. 85% rice and 20% prawn (2 pcs) and 5% asparagus (1pc) for just under £9. I didn’t feel I got my money’s worth and should have chosen the curry rice and purchased the prawns separately.Once I finished my meal i had about 35% rice left and asked if it was possible to buy curry sauce.. answer was no, we do not sell our curry sauce. So not that accommodating.. considering how dry the dish was.I might have to comeback another day and try the other items on the menu, such as the sushi which looked awesome.

This place used to be really good now it has gone bad. Foods always run out. The same old sushi snacks are a mess. I wish they would display or sell more items.

I just used a cafe that is within this lovely convenience shop inside the Westfield shopping centre at Stratford. Loved the ramen, and my colleague was very happy with his kabocha pumpkin. The meal deal was reasonable priced, and i will return again.

It’s okay, but one of the Asian female was spraying cleaning detergent in the table next to me while I was eating, she did the same to other tables and didn’t stop even when she was told not to, she sprayed some onto the other customers clothes.I understand tables needs to be cleaned, but can’t she spray on the paper towels THEN wipe the table?Despite that the quality of the food and helfulness of other staff is amazing.

I ordered sashimi, sushi, seaweed and tobiko. The fish was fresh on the day, however it was quite expensive due to quantity, and the fish isn’t fresh every day. I’ve been to Japan Centre multiple times, and the food overall is ok, but I’m not satisfied with how the staff treats its costumers on several occasions, which means that I have to order take away every time, instead of being able to enjoy my food there.

Employees are sweet but somewhat checked out and need to be micromanaged. If you don't want extraneous packaging, tell them - see photo of takeaway boxes. They neglected to include the gyoza sauce that I paid for.
