Honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. My go-to place for any repairs or alterations. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Has taken care of all the jumpers that I failed to protect from moths, even some quite large holes. Adjusted some expensive shirts to the perfect length. And even saved my favourite tote bag by making new handles for it that look just like the rest of the bag! Great prices too and quick turnaround.

Brilliant service from Stitch and Repair, who converted two dresses into skirts for me and changed a very long maxi skirt into a dress. They’ve also made some smaller alterations for me (shortening sleeves, dress lengths) and have done a fantastic job each time. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the work, and their turnaround times are really quick. I definitely recommend them!

Took a Barbour jacket to Marcin at stitch and repair and he did an excellent job of tailoring it for me. It fits perfectly and the work was carried out quickly and for a very reasonable price. I can highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Absolutely thoroughly recommend Stitch & Repair! I've had several repairs and alterations done now and they're always completed to a really high standard. I asked for a two day turnaround most recently and Marcin is super accommodating. I've actually moved to the Borders but still go back to Stitch & Repair when I'm in Edinburgh for work because the service is so good and nothing near me compares ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s such a pleasure to find great service at a very reasonable price! From the moment I walked into this shop I felt welcomed by Marcin who looked at my curtains and suggested the best way to alter them.I wasn’t sure that my measurements were correct so he gave me a mini curtain with headed tape and hooks and a tape measure attached at the top to take home to allow me to attach to my curtain track and measure the required length. A great idea as my curtains are now the perfect length.Professional, efficient, friendly and very reasonable prices. This is definitely now my go to for alterations!
