DON'T PARK HERE..... SHOCKING.... 5 mins pop into Co-op and a week later a £100 fine. If the money was going to a local Braunton business I wouldn't feel so miffed, but it's not.

DO NOT USE. They use ANPR and are totally unreasonable about you going a few minutes over and have no interest in your mitigating circumstances.The card reader does not work so you are forced into using the app.The lighting is very poor.

parked at 8pm at night (the disabled parking on road was already taken by someone without blue badge) managed to park in very tight spot - got my 96 year old father into wheelchair. did not see any signs whatsever and assumed at 8pm and blue badge would not be issue.Very badly signed, very dark, steep hill.returned at 9pm.1 week later received fineAbsolute con guys - the problem being you only find this out after event - obviously never go back.

The car park itself is fine. It wasnt very busy and good access to Braunton. However, we pulled up for 10 minuets to run into the coop at 10pm, unfortunately didnt read the sign, and we were charged £60. It is cheap so definitely pay otherwise you will be fined!

Stopped here for a few minutes while the wife fetched fish and chips. Couple of days later got a £100 fine in the post. The charges are actually quite reasonable and would have happily paid for half an hour had the signs been more clearly displayed. I agree with the majority here, this is deliberate profiteering by the parking company. You have to drive in to the car park to see that it's a pay car park not free. If you then decide you don't want to pay to park and drive out you will get a fine. This is why most reasonable civilised car parks give a small window such as 10 minutes where you can change your mind or realise you don't have the right change.

avoid at all costs. parked 6 times over a week, one visit was 2 minutes over, received £100 fine, I won't be paying it, but most people will, place should be shut down..

Used the App to pay for a 2-hour stay and still received a 35 pound fine. The car was hired and they charged the company who charged me.

Terrible car park, two friends each used this car park. One going 3 minutes over the time limit, actually sat in the car eating fish and chips. The other using late at night and not aware having to pay for a 5 minute stop, poor signage. Both revived a fine of £100 after returning from Holiday. Sorry Braunton you won’t be visited again and these people are not doing your town any favours.

Don’t park here. Received a £100 fine even though I paid £1.50 to park for ten minutes. Turns out the RingGo app scanned the post code on my number plate instead of the number plate itself. Appealed and it was rejected. Popla also rejected. Now seeking legal advice as I feel very strongly that I should not have to pay this insane fine.

Stopped and popped in for fish and chips for 23 mins. Didn’t realise you had to pay or even see a sign to pay (around 9pm). Judging off the previous reviews I’ve reluctantly paid the £60 fine. DO NOT ENTER THIS CAR PARK.
