A great find, a warm and welcoming pub with a real fire. Our food was excellent, a wide choice of home cooked meals. Service friendly and attentive. Dog friendly and parking behind the pub. Highly recommended.

Lovely to see the Crown back up and running, with new folk at the helm. The food is freshly (and perfectly) cooked and delicious. As a non-meat eater it's nice to see veggie options that are a bit different from the usual offerings. Portion sizes are generous and the welcome is warm. It's back to being our local favourite again.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Very friendly and efficient service, even though they were quite busy. It sells great beer and has a nice little beer garden and is dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Stayed for weekend with brothers. Martin and Sam were fantastic hosts, food and drink was brilliant and rooms were great.Recommended and will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic! We went for a family meal and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It’s sometimes hard work going for a meal out with youngsters, but we felt so at ease and they couldn’t do enough for us! The food was some of the best we’ve experienced in a pub, tasty, well cooked and at a reasonable price. The toilet facilities were also extremely clean and kindly stocked with little bits and pieces you might need but have forgotten. We visited whilst staying at the caravan park down the road, but if we ever find ourselves staying there again we would definitely return.

Drove past and stopped for a drink. Ended up being tempted by the roast beef Sunday lunch. Excellent food, swiftly served and very tasty. Great value for money with such a friendly service. Highly recommended, v thank you.
