Mishmash Tattoos

For many years I have fantasised about the day I would get myself a tattoo, but nothing could have prepared me for how nervous I would actually become. But when I booked my consultation with Hamish and saw the finished sketch a week later, before the tattooing began, my worries were put to rest.The overall experience of the session and atmosphere of the studio were extremely comforting. My nerves were replaced with laughter, groovy music, and a gripping audio book to soak in as the ink became a part of my complexion.I asked a lot from Hamish, and for what was produced as the final composition left me feeling flamboyant and happy as a bird in spring! Mishmash Tattoos is by far the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! Hamish was so chill but also very professional, I felt so comfortable and relaxed being there as it was clean, welcoming and just such a friendly and inviting atmosphere! I first had a consultation with Hamish to discuss my tattoo in depth, where he gave his own suggestions but also really listened and focused on what was important to me. The tattoo itself is so detailed and absolutely beautiful!!! Hamish was so understanding with everything (comfort, breaks, changing designs etc) I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Will be getting all my future tattoos from here! Looking forward to my next session :)

I wrote my last review for Mish 2 years ago which is hard to believe. It's always exciting going back to him for new ink but this time I was really blown away! I asked Mish to design a Seahorse for me and what he created is just stunning. I am over the moon with the design, the blending of colour and attention to detail. I can't wait to go back and get it finished off with some background colour too.I've watched closely to see all the hard work Mish has put in to creating this fabulous, creative space over the last couple of years. It is a welcoming, cool and clean studio which has a relaxed but professional vibe. You can guarantee to be met with an eclectic selection of tunes which I love and I always leave the studio on a high - this time was no exception! Had an amazing day with Marta in the studio today! Such a nice space and a really friendly, welcoming environment created by 3 people who clearly love what they do, and put a lot of thought and care into their art. I felt incredibly relaxed and am beyond happy with my tattoo. From the first time I met with Marta to discuss my idea, I knew she’d smash it and the design was above and beyond my expectations. Incredible artist , wonderful human and I can’t wait for the next time :) xxx

What an amazing experience! I've been waiting to get to MishMash tattoos for years. Working with the owner and artist Hamish was an absolute treat. Full disclosure, we've been friends for many years but I've been saving my leg for him until I was able to fly halfway around the world to visit! Feeling so lucky to have had such a magical experience in his shop. The vibes were great. Everyone in the studio that came in for the art or just a consulation was met with kindness and gratitude. It felt so nice knowing I was in such good hands. Can't wait to come back for more!

I was listened to by Hamish and the design was faultless. The attention to detail, such as the placement, was exact. The time spent tattooing was so intensely calm it felt meditative; the chosen, enforced stillness of the process made the experience one of complete relaxation! My Fitbit logged the time as a ‘deep sleep’ !!! And the result was so intricate…. I love it. Thankyou.
