A difficult fireplace build for Mark and Dave in a 300 year old house. Nothing was too much trouble, Alec kept us informed throughout and Vic visited to do the initial survey. Mark and Dave’s attitude was brilliant- they put up with our 2 dogs, withstood the hot weather and did everything they could to ensure we were extremely satisfied with the result. Our Derwent Derbyshire stone fireplace is superb and we cannot wait to be cosy this winter with our log burner. We highly recommend Chatsworth fireplaces at Rowsley for a fantastic project well done. Great experience from visiting the shop to installation.Vic visited to measure up and gave some valuable advice. Quote followed next day and the installation team were polite, efficient and tidy. The plumber arrived first and capped the gas ready for the install.All in all, very happy.Thanks

Fantastic service. Put in a log burner for us at our house. Alec, Mark and Dave explained everything brilliantly. Worked tirelessly when they encountered problems. We are really happy with the result and would highly recommend to everyone.

I visited Chatsworth Road Fireplace Centre the week they were opening back in August, Alec was clearly extremely busy preparing the showroom but happily spent time with me to fully understand the issues we were experiencing with our existing stone surround and our concerns. This was a refreshing change having been elsewhere and being made to feel “dismissed” and advised they “only fitted new stoves”. Following me showing Alex photos of our existing surround he arranged for Mark to visit and a damp company to investigate, this ultimately resulted in the whole surround and stove being removed. Mark and Paul worked extremely hard to remove the surround, finding many issues that had been previously hidden, even advising that the existing installed stove had never been registered at Hetas. However, they found the original fire opening which had been bricked in, adding to the damp issues we were encountering. Following discussions with Alec and Mark we decided to leave the stone exposed and chose a Derbyshire stone surround, a black granite hearth and Stovax stove. We are delighted with the end result and can’t wait for the room to be fully completed so we can light the stove. Alec and Mark are a great team, their advice and hard work from my initial visit to the completion has been amazing. They always arrived when they said they would, maintained contact throughout the whole works and ensured we were completely satisfied; I would highly recommend them.

I had a very good experience from start to finish with this company and their work is of the highest standard. They installed a media wall (Inset TV at the top and electric fire at the bottom) which looks great. Highly recommended.

We recently had our fireplace overhauled by Chatsworth Fireplace Centre in Rowsley. Alec in the shop was really helpful. Vic came to assess the fireplace and then Dave and Mark came out and removed the old stone surround, sandblasted it, fitted a new hearth and a new wood burning stove. Dave and Mark did a superb job from start to finish at the house and we are thrilled to bits. Thank you!
