Quite possibly, the best steak and customer service experience in this type of joint I've ever had in Nottingham City.So good, we went back twice IN a WEEK - it was NOT a fluke. Recommend 1000%Oh, and a very reasonable visit on the pocket to boot -2x generous steak dinners, a cheeseboard, a pudding, a medium rosé and a pint of Stella Artois - just slightly over £82!That absolutely blows Miller & Carter out of the water on pound for pound price.

Came yesterday for my sons graduation. One of the side orders was wrong but was quickly rectified by staff. Ordered 4 main meals, one was completely wrong. Staff said they'd sort it and it seems it was forgotten rather than rectified, so informed staff not to bother as we'd all finished our meals after waiting and waiting for the wrong/missing meal to arrive. We decided to skip dessert here, over £100 spent and didn't want any more mistakes (that included an online 25% discount) I feel money would be better spent elsewhere. We went to maccies who got our dessert order correct! Won't be back again, sorry...

Amazing beautiful restaurant, very cozy and comfortable. The staff is very nice and welcoming, I been honestly impressed of them, also I never saw somebody to be so grateful for the tip.The food was amazing, unfortunately I didn't take a picture with the starters, but salt and peper squid with garlic and fresh chilly was fantastic, I think that was the best that I ever had.The steak is good, juicy, perfectly cooked.We been here few times and we will continue to come back.

Brilliant service - food arrived fast and was really hot.Food was amazing - we had off the festive menu and it was great. The steak was cooked to perfection and was so tasty! We would come back in a heartbeat it was great!

We work only a few minutes away from here and I’ve driven past it so many times, always noticed the LED cow from the road but never actually visited. We visited spontaneously after work one night this week and loved it. The food was incredible, the mocktail drinks were really flavoursome and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Freya stood out as her service was just phenomenal. She made some great recommendations, had a good laugh and just made the experience really memorable. I’d be happy if she served us in every bar and restaurant we went to. She really is an asset. Message for Freya - don’t be afraid to ask for tips off customers, you deserve them. Thanks again to the whole team, we had a great time

We had a lovely dinner, food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately, at the end of our meal we paid and left a small tip of a few quid (there was no service charge recommend on the bill). The waitress serving us walked away and remarked sarcastically ‘wow… i can buy a small red bull with this’. As a waitress myself i thought this was very rude and sadly left a bad taste about the entire experience as this was our first meal out in almost a year.

Visited here at lunch on the premise it was a steak restaurant and the pictures and reviews looked great. Lunch menu very limited and there was only one steak on the menu which read as though it was a quick cook minute steak. Wasn’t as expected and we left. Can’t comment on the food as I didn’t dine due to the limited menu choice. Would not recommend for lunch. The staff however were friendly and accommodating perhaps visit in the evening if it’s a steak you’re after. Given the name I was surprised at the lunch menu!

Fantastic after work meal. We were late for the 2 for 1 cocktails and had to wait a bit for a table but we were looked after well. Lots of great food.

Definitely one of the best places in Nottingham to have a good steak. However, we felt the service was a bit rushed. I don't know whether this was due to the time when we arrived (8.30pm) or the service has deteriorated over the years. Previously, we had visited this place a few times, and everything was brilliant!
