Douglas & Gordon Estate Agents Fulham

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Douglas & Gordon and I would not recommend them to anyone.We were trying to sell our house with them last year and once our property launched on the market the communication with D&G became scattered. We received calls from various D&G offices with viewing requests late at night and little to no introduction. The communication and organisation of viewings overall was not organised.After one day of viewings we returned home some hours later to find the front door unlocked (there is a triple security lock) and the back door completely unlocked. There were lights on and the blinds were not drawn. You could see straight into our house which was lit up like a Christmas tree.A few weeks later we noticed a number of expensive and sentimental items missing from our home. I could date when they went missing as it included gifts for my 40th birthday. The only people in our house or had keys other than us had been D&G. Due to the nature of the items that were taken, someone must have looked through our things. They were not left out to be quickly swiped by some opportunist.We made a complaint and received a pathetic response from the Sales Director with barely an apology. I am not sure they even formally investigated despite me and my family (their customers) being made to feel violated in our own home and having irreplaceable items worth thousands of pounds stolen when we had trusted them.I am still incredibly upset and angry about what happened and their response. Avoid like the plague!Edited 9 months later to say D&G never did adequately follow up on this, or apologise. I believe our belongings were stolen by one of their team and they cannot be trusted.

A big thank you to Senior Negotiator, Olivia Barlow, Her expertise and knowledge of the property market found us the perfect tenants very quickly. She was extremely helpful and very efficient and facilitated a smooth transaction on both sides. I would highly recommend Olivia to help anyone looking for tenants and also tenants looking for a property. The best and a highly professional service we've experienced.

Very personable staff. Found tenants quickly and the kept updated on documentation process through email and their portal. Harry was very helpful throughout the process and shared update on offers promptly. overall good experience.Would have been 5 star review if the internal communications work better. Property management asked for same documents supplied to lettings team. Another agent was not aware that current tenant was in.

Me and my husband were super happy following our recent experience with Douglas & Gordon. In particular, a special mention has to go to the lovely Aimee from Fulham who was so informative when it came to answering all of our questions (of which we had many!). Her friendliness and enthusiasm definitely helped in soothing our first-move nerves! Definitely recommend.

My experience with Douglas & Gordon has been more than positive. Camilla has been really welcoming, positive and efficient since the day I've met her. Everything was clearly explained and within one week we managed to get the tenancy agreement signed thanks to her efficiency. Thank you for your hard work, I was really impressed. Ella from the Fulham office was excellent throughout my property search. She is very knowledgeable about the area, great at responding to queries and at tailoring viewings to what I was looking for. I’ve had a great experience with Douglas & Gordon and especially Aimee Roe. Aimee was extremely helpful and made a effort to show me additional properties which could be of interest, resulting with me finding my flat! Questions were always answered very quickly which made my final decision a lot easier. All round great service, highly recommended.
