Block paved manhole cover won't budge. Now have a blocked drain. Will cost a fortune to get someone out now!!. Must be sand / cement in the grooves.

We were due to use Terry Christie to block pave our driveway and front garden, they quoted a large sum of money, but as my parents used this comany over 4 years ago and their drive still looks amazing we decided the money was to be put towards a good investment.We were given two weeks notice that the work would start on 8th May 2017. We contacted this company a couple of times in the run up to commencement of works to make sure everything was in hand. On Friday 5th May we were told that the work is now not due to start until Thursday 11 May. They would be there by 9am. Just after 9am we got a call to say the contractor had a problem with his wifes car and would arrive at 1pm. At 2pm when he still hadn't arrived, I phoned to cancel the job, as I was sick of them moving goal posts for when the work was due to start and as we were paying a large amount of money I expected a decent workforce. I was told not to cancel as the guy was on his way

Having had a shoddy job done about 15 years ago we couldn't live with it any more and terry Christie had done our drive years ago decided to go with them from start to finish every one we had dealings with were polite and professional throughout, yes we had to wait a good few months but if you want a good job done that is what you need to be aware of.we are very happy with the end result and can't wait till the good weather is back so we can fully appreciate our lovely garden
