We live locally and on the whole have only ever had a bad experience, the last one was where we were charged £34 for two racks of ribs! Fair enough they were good quality but half the belly was attached enabling him to charge more, this is plainly taking advantage of customers. In the past we have collected a turkey on Christmas eve that was fresh but was half frozen, lamb shanks were ordered for a dinner party and these where frozen, and a pie that had a date 3 months previous which had also been frozen. There are lots of really good farm shops in the area, so we will not be entering his premises again.

The quality here is absolutely amazing. Visit most weeks for a sandwich and they are just fantastic. Only down side is that sometimes the beef sandwich doesn't have much meat. But the quality of the bread and meats make up for this.Pies are so tasty!!!!!

Stumbled across this place purely by accident. One of the best finds I've ever made.They have all sorts of produce, great quality and decent on price !I'll most definitely be going again soon.

This is a very good butcher however in my view it's a little expensive. The cooked meat section was dissapointing compared with years past when it was superb. Pork pies and sausage rolls where good though. There is also a good range of fresh vegetables and prepared meals which looked good but I did not purchase. Certainly worth a visit.

Excellent quality butchers. We travel for over 40 minutes to get our produce but definitely worth it. The pork is to die for, especially if you get a joint to do crackling. Never had any better from any other butchers in the area. Totally recommend, you will not be disappointed.
