Visited for the first time after recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed lovely friendly staff great advise, shocked at how good the prices are our dog was VERY happy with what we returned home with, this Will be the only place we shop now

Everything you'd need for your pets minus the rubbish food and treats like whiskas, bakers, pedigree all junk and no nutrition in them thank god for little family run shops that actually care about your pets needs

After feeding our new member of the family some known brands of feed and noticing how it did her no good, it was such a breath of fresh air to speak to someone knowledgable on kitten/cat food. Pleased to say, kitten is doing fantastic. The people working in this store are absolutely awesome.

I have 4 dogs and I have heard other dog walkers talking about and recommending CJ's pet food store in Ashford. However I have never been in there myself as I tend to buy online. My 16 year old Jack Russell needs kidney support food but hasn't really liked any of them. Some he has started off liking but then goes off them after a couple of days. The only food he really likes consistently is raw chicken but of course that is way too much protein So I wanted to try Nutriment Raw Kidney Support dog food but as it's frozen then minimum order is 10kg to ensure it remains frozen during delivery. This was 10 packs totalling £51.86! Ok if he liked it but a waste of money if he didn't. I rang Nutriment and they recommeneded I call CJ's (My nearest stockist) and see if they had any in stock. They didn't but kindly offered to and one pack to their next order that will be here later this week and they are going to call me to let me know when it arrives. What an axcellent service. Thank you to whoever it was I spoke to :)

I fully endorse the knowledge of the staff. Today I was deeply disappointed how they dealt with customer loyalty. Having spent several hundred pounds over the past 6 months they refused to collate multiple reward cards to allow a free purchase. In the current climate this is most unnecessary and very disappointing.

They are amazing and very knowledgeable the owner took he's time and went though all the food that suited my dog was a great help as a new per owner highly recommend

Knowledgeable staff with good advice for small animals.Shame they have unsuitable cages on top shelf, but all the other products are really good!
