Grove Tennis Club

The Grove Tennis Club has to have one of the friendliest welcomes I have ever experienced.The members were lovely and down to earth, I didn’t notice any snobbishness when I said I haven’t played for many years, I wasn’t very good back then.The Grove Tennis Club is easy to find, just a few minutes’ walk from greenhead park.The grounds looked cared for and everyone seemed invested in the club, and not just there to play Tennis.Excellent value for money, especially with a household membership.

I joined Grove Tennis Club in the spring of 2023 and it's the best decision I've made since moving up north the year before.From the moment we walked through those gates, we felt so welcome and the members that were present, kindly spent time with us to explain how the Club works.It is very affordable and perfect for the whole family. All skill levels are welcome and no one is left out.There are events and coaching sessions through the season, which helps keep members involved and keen.Will hopefully be part of the Club for many years to come!

Best tennis club in Huddersfield. Fabulous, unpretentious tennis club! Great value membership. Lovely red clay courts. Friendly members always welcoming and a great place for my kids to play. My husband plays in the men's team along with grandad too!
