Took my car in on Tuesday the 8th of August to have a new cambelt fitted and new brakes and discs all round on my Vectra. The car may not be fantastic but it's a great runner and gets us around so wanted to get it fixed up for a couple more years. The work has been done perfectly as asked and will be back soon to get my car through its MOT . The car feels like new again and couldn't fault the place. Took my Peugeot here for MOT, suspension, engine parts & some issues with various sensors going off.Due to the fact that there were various issues it had to go in and out of the garage a few times to be plugged in.Very happy with the service, everyone working there very helpful and polite. They had the patience to explain what was wrong, took the time to speak to me on the phone.Car is fixed and running perfectly!I very much recommend this garage, and I will certainly use again.Sarah Robertson Peugeot 308 sw 2008.

I took my car in for a basic oil cooler repaired as my part was damaged. Originally rang up and was told it would be around 1-2 hours work and would be around 150.00 so I agreed took it in and left it there. I got a phone call saying the water pump is making noise and he could do it at the same time and the cost would be around 210 all together so I agreed and Said that's fine.I collected the car and was charged 280.005 hours labour and the water pump wasn't even touched he just put the labour hours up!I drove off and got 3 miles away when the water expansion tank leaked all it's water and started steaming so pulled over and rang him up which he replied maybe it's another problem we have to fix. After moments of me telling him it's never done it before he told.me to bring it in. Then I noticed on the drivers side there was a very big dent in. Someone had hit into it at the shop!!! I rang up and demanded what had happend which he was very confused with his answers and said ito never been driven. Just parked up. Then he said next door there are special needs people and one of them proberly hit it.. Before I took the car in I reset the miles and since it was driven 15 miles. So someone has driven it. And he stated it drives good for a high milage car. I drove the car back and recorded the entire coversation of him saying someone next door might of hit it and putting blame on everyone else. He said he'd fix it as a act of good will but it won't be perfect and he won't paint it!I am now pursing legal action and issued small claims court against them I have all the phonecalls recorded and video proof of him accepting it could and proberly was caused by next door. He had full responsibility for my car and he did not keep it safe. I didn't return the car as I didn't trust it would be done correctly. I would recommend to avoid as this has been the worst garage I've ever used and the damage was bad my car wasn't perfect when I took it in but as a paying customer I expect a good service not more damage to my vehicle

A fast and efficient service. I had a problem with the lock on the boot, made worse by severe rusting. The problem was quickly diagnosed, the lock returned to a working state and the rusted section welded up. I found this garage to be very friendly, helpful and honest.

Very good service and friendly mechanic who actually helped me to find out what was wrong with my car without a charge, I then chose this garage to carry out the work and everything was perfect even the price. Friendly and polite staff from the moment I walked in. Will definitely be using you again A*

Extremely friendly, professional, quick, and cheap. Literally the best mechanic I've ever encountered. We had an emergency when the exhaust unit of our Mini One came loose. Within 2 hours we had all the new components sourced and installed. All of the issues and their causes were explained clearly and simply. He also identified parts that were about to fail and preemptively repaired them, where other mechanics had left them. All for half the price what we would usually pay.

Had a problem with exhaust. Took it to one garage who said they would have to have the car for at least a day..and charge me! Took it to another one who told me the whole exhaust needed replacing. Then took it to abbot motors, as recommended by a couple of work colleagues. Turns out the bracket holding the exhaust was broken..nothing wrong with the actual exhaust!! The bracket was ordered and replaced within hours. The mechanic was really helpful and polite. The price was alot less than i was expecting and LOADS less than the other 2 garages. I have already recommended this garage to all my friends. I wont be taking my car anywhere else now!!.......................................................... This is not another review..but if it was it would still be 5*!! I would just like to say to the underhanded person/persons who last night had the audacity to use my name to post a rude FAKE review ...who the hell do u think you are!!!! I did not and never would post such a rude..totally untrue lie. Perhaps you should think about what you are doing and how it could affect the families and children of the hardworking people at this garage..I'm sure you wouldnt like it done to yourself/selves! I have no idea what you are trying to achieve by bad mouthing this garage??? It makes no odds as i will continue to bring my car here and so will everyone else that appreciates a friendly, honest service...of which there are many I'm sure!! If whoever used my name was not happy...thats life..get over it! In the meantime...u person/people who have used my name, (cause you are too sly and petty to use your own)...i always use my married name...apart from this review site as it is a very old google account!! Try using it again and i WILL be reporting you!!
