Bought a car from Archie August 2017, went for test drive and husband went to look at engine and seen there was a cap missing. We phoned Archie to say and he said its ok just drive back, alarm bells should have gone off. Anyway bought car in cash 1,400.00, after picking up car had to take car back which Archie sorted. Fast forward to Feb 2020 and unfortunately car failed M.O.T and paid £770 to get car back on road, then another £224 as something went wrong with steering. Went to Arnold Clark in Falkirk and used the car as part exchane only to find out my car is a right off, my husband phoned and spoke to Archie and he said he never knew this and would find out more for us. Got my new car and today 10th Feb 2020 we found out from Archie that unfortunately he cant find out about car as the garage he got it from has closed down....please dont make mistake iv done buying a car here.

Edit:Absolutely astonished by what happened.Bought a car there, and I was told it was completely okay.Brought it to my mechanic for a check and he found the car was barely roadworthy.Damaged tire, clutch at the end of its days, whole chassis rusted and breaks completely worn down.Car will be returned, will update to let you know what happens.I have contacted the seller and he was as surprised as I was.He told me to come back to him to work something out, which is a good starting point.Will update review when everything has settled in order to give a complete view of the experience

This man is a gentleman Archie helped me massively my partner bought me a Peaugot 208 ( stunning car inside and out ) the engine packed in so took it back to Archie ,( not his fault hes not a mind reader ) Got an MG 3 from him and it too was a beautiful wee car too but not practical for my work so took it back to Archie now traded in for a toyota hybrid again beautiful car ,Archie throuought has been a gentleman hes been a star as any problems and he helps you throughout after all when cars have problems its not Archies fault , people that rant and rave get no where archies only human and he has a heart of gold . So THANK YOU Archie for all your help throughout keep smiling xxx

Bought a van from them in May 2022. Had to take the van back to get handbrake fixed. Also promised that doors were fixed as they weren’t opening when I went to view the van.Since I bought it, half the electrics are busted, had to spend £400 getting handbrake fixed and the last straw was that the side door that they promised was fixed flew off after I had been round a roundabout. And the back door never opened properly either. I used to just fix the side door back on as I need my van for my job.Please avoid. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I bought a cheap car from them the other day they were really friendly and reasonably priced the dealership is worth a look

Bought a car it cost £4300 and it lasted 3 month before it needed a new spark plug and coil also needed a turbo hose and countless other things could of been some serious damage done if I didn't know about cars avoid this place its a scam

Ford Focus ST electrical issues with engine management system clutch gone and wanted to sell it to us with no MOT or warranty as a trade sale beware if your looking at this car needs a bit of work and don't be caught out with the clutch.
