Airport City Manchester

Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been, if not the worst. 1 hour before my flight and there is no gate announced for most of the flights at the same time. The lounge is super crowded and it takes 5-10 mins to go to the gates from here. People moving difficulties will face a serious challenge in this airport.

Manchester Airport is a thoroughly miserable experience from the moment you enter the terminal. Despite the millions of pounds spent on T2 it is constantly crowded, finding somewhere to sit and wait can be a challenge and most food outlets and bars have massive queues.Security while well meaning and polite enough staff, is slow and laborious, herded like cattle in a somewhat noisy and chaotic area.Actively avoid coming here when I can, would prefer to drive further to other airports where you are still treat somewhat like a human, rather than an inconvenience

You can get a train from the airport to the city centre and it's around £4. The airport is farely big and you do need to travel a bit to reach your terminal so give yourself some time. The airport it's has a lot of shops and the duty free is big. Going through security was a nightmare. You need to make sure you have all your liquids in a bag that is provided and it needs to close, If it doesn't close you will need to pick which items you want to keep. All electronics need to be out of your bag including hairdryer and hair straightener. Because if this, I would say 85% if the people have issues and it makes the security time longer so give yourself extra time otherwise you'll be running to the terminal.

Probably the worst airport I have ever been to. Rude staff, endless waiting time. People are forced to wait for hours for their suitcases at security checkpoints.

One of the worst Airport I’ve ever been - far worse than even developing countries. The security and layout is a mess. The airport is clearly trying to extort as much money as possible (even by international airport standards) even charging £1 for use of baggage trolleys. If possible, avoid flying through this airport but unfortunately, there’s hardly any other in the North West that offer the destinations Manchester Airport has. A disgrace to Manchester and the UK.

Manchester security is a joke the amount of people stuck waiting for baggage checks was unbelievable. It was obvious security were heavily understaffed and I uncoordinated of what must have been supervisors (white shirts) had looks of panic on their faces not only that they blamed customers for not removing items from their bags. This caused us a 45mins delay with the knock on effect of missing our flight. Thanks Manchester airport

Terminal 3. Awful airport that’s literally falling apart. It’s such an embarrassment. Just spent an hour stuck in the plane as the air bridge doesn’t work. Long queues at border force as many machines down. Please it’s time Manchester had an airport it can be proud of

One of the worst airports on earth, I kid you not!Please fix the security control process!

Very busy 24 hours a day. Easy access for dropping off people but very poor that pick ups cannot be done without going into the car parks
