Had a good experience with Thames Water. Loved the building design, infrastructure and architecture. Hope to visit again soon.

Not only was I sent a bill four times too high for a period four times longer than my tenancy, but when I contacted Thames water to correct this I had to deal with an INSANE amount of stupid hurdles. Awful, awful company which contributes so little above and beyond the absolute bare minimum and is such a pain to have anything to do with.

Thames Water have failed to deliver water to my property for days now. There are thousands in my area who have no water. Perhaps if Thames Water spent less time engineering their balance sheet to pay dividends and more time actually engineering the infrastructure, we wouldn't be queuing for bottled water every morning in Godalming. Bentley walked out with millions. Al Cochrane is a spreadsheet jockey and acting CEO; Thames infrastructure is broken. I genuinely don't believe they know how to fix their infrastructure. It's time for their board to resign, hand the company back into public ownership and pay back their pay, bonuses and all historic dividends to the tax payer. There should be criminal accountability for the Ponzi scheme that is Thames Water.

I had to deal with them after house moving. People who moved in to my old place didn't change to their name. Thames kept sending me bills to my new address . Emailed quite a few but sent me debt collection letter. Had to call few times for the issue. Got proof from estate agent. Thames customer service agents are really polite and helpful. They understood and closed the case. Told they will chase the new occupies and no more issue with me. It was during the covid stressful period. Glad it was solved.

These people took infrastructure paid for by taxpayers, stripped it for profit, filled our rivers and oceans with sewage, and racked up 14bn in debt which it looks like is now going to be picked up by the taxpayers. This company is literally a monopoly - do you know how incompetent and/or greedy you need to be to run up this much debt and let infrastructure fall into this level of disrepair when you don't even have any market competition? The owners of this company should be fined from their personal wealth but no, they get to walk away unscathed and with their pockets full of our cash.

Just got off the phone with the Meter team..after getting a letter, just addressed to “The Occupier” even though all previous correspondence usually has my name!!! Apparently, I am being TOLD, I will have a water meter, under compulsory rules blah blah, to save water (yes, good idea, though not a new one, we that that idea many years ago, when we saved water in our homes as a matter of course)….but freedom of choice not an option here…dear customer, you ARE going to get a water meter.. Yet, last year, despite numerous calls the TW, I had water gushing down the street for 2 months before anyone did anything at all. It might save water, but it will not save us from higher bills, I am sure of that. Even the star is compulsory to post a review…

Our rivers are in an ecological mess, they have been for some time but since privatisation nothing much has changed. We now have not one of our rivers rated as good by New Scintist, when you include chemical polution - not one in England, Wales or NI! However, the average wage for bosses at the water and sewage companies in England in 2022 was nearly £1.7m and their standard salary rise was 27%. For what? Failure. I don't object to them puffing out their chests and glorying in telling the neighbors they are a CEO but I do object to any salary rise when the organisation is failing. Wait until you hit the real target of clean rivers - then talk salary.

What the hell is wrong with this company? Do you have any idea of the damage you cause for hundreds of thousands of drivers? So much unnecessary traffic and congestion, all because your workers are lazy, can't be bothered to do a hard day's work, and for a few little repairs on the pavement that only takes a day or two. This is a booming example why water privatisation is a useless failure.

My understanding is that if you make a claim and they do not reply within 10 days they have to give you 20£: I think it saved me, because they made plenty of mistakes on my account.2 of them I never got to know how they made it.They even sent me an e-mail directed to another costumerSorry: very poor costumer service!
