Morton House and the Stable Block

Spent a wonderful 6 nights at Morton House and the Stables with family and friends. Michelle and Columb couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating us and our plans, and in keeping in touch to make sure everything was jut right. The properties themselves are superb - it's the first time we've staying in a holiday house that actually felt like we were at home in, and that's worth a lot! Masham is a great location, great local shops, the Bay Horse pub was excellent, and the breweries - well, no words needed! Lovely walks in the area, plenty of local towns to explore too. Highly recommended - we'll be back!

This house was a perfect way to enjoy our milestone birthdays in style. Being in Masham with all its pubs and 2 breweries we all had a fantastic time. The accommodation in the house was really good and as there were about 14 of us there was plenty of room and weren't on top of each other. The kitchen is really big and a great social space at the heart of the home and for parking there is plenty of free space outside the property on the road. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for a bit with a few friends. There are also lots of walks around the area should anyone have this interest too

I spent 2 nights at Morton House and the Stables with a group of 10 female friends. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely helpful answering any queries we had before and during our stay. The accomodation is within easy access of the town centre so perfect for pottering about the shops and market. I would definately recommend Morton House and Stables for a short or extended stay.

This is the second year myself and our large Family of 10, 4 generations have stayed at Morton House. I cannot fault anything about our stay. Set in the lovely village of Masham that had a market twice a week a number of pubs all serving good food and a Co-Op it really has everyhting you could need on your doorstep without taking away from the nantural beauty of Yorkshire.Michelle and Columb who own Morton House are wonderful people as well who have gone above and beyond both years to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We will definitely all be back!

We recently spent 2 nights for a family get together and had a wonderful time. The house is so well equipped and full of character. We hope to stay again in the future.

We recently stayed at Morton House and the Stable Block for a week and had a great holiday. We were a group of 12 adults and 4 children aged 2 and under and the accommodation was very comfortable for all of us. Everything we needed was there and the owners were very helpful and responsive answering questions and also helping us to arrange and book activities. There are a number of local deals available through the property. All went well but we had to be careful with the toddlers with the stairs, steps and some of the flooring. Overall - very highly recommended.

Our family group of 15, age range 6 months - 83 years, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Morton House & Stable Block. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped and sufficient room for us all to gather together in the evening. The folder with local information was comprehensive and welcome.... and used by us! A circular walk by the river on Saturday and a visit to Thorpe Perrow on Sunday.We would love to come back again!

Highly recommended. We are a family of 14 and last weekend we stayed at Morton House and the Stable Block in Masham. It was excellent in every way, the accommodation was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, everything was well cared for and tidy. The owners are extremely helpful, there is lots to do in the area for all ages and we just loved the whole experience. So much so that we are planning a return in 2024.
