Absolutely spot on.. welcomming,friendly staff. Waiting time is minimal.Gorgeous home-made food. Will be definitely visiting again. Highly recommended. Would easily pay more for the food.

Called in on Sunday lunchtime. Was pretty busy and they were stopping taking reservations for food as they were so full.We only wanted drinks so found a quiet side room where TV was showing football which suited us.Very friendly staff and had we stayed they would have put the Newcastle game on for my brother in law.Had a meal here last year which was excellent.Recommend a visit here.

Me and my partner stopped off for a Sunday lunch, the food was absolutely amazing. Could not find fault with it at all.However it was let down by the fact that my partner got a pint of beer and after one mouthful could tell it was the bottom of the barrell. He didn't want to cause a fuss so didn't say anything. However when he went to pay he was asked if everything was alright. He said good was spot on but the beer was off. They acknowledged that it was the bottom of the barrel, he asked if they would knock it off the bill and the answer was no as he had drank some of it.How can you tell beer is off without trying it?,Not sure we will be back as the attitude stunk. However as I said the food is nice.

The family and I went for a Sunday Lunch; the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Their hot brownie with ice cream really hit the spot… The staff was very welcoming, friendly and polite. Will definitely be coming around again.

It was empty on a Friday night! We were greeted on entry and chose our seats, we were attended to very quickly with menus and drink order taken,Food took ages to arrive but i didnt mind at least i know it was cooked from fresh and not microwaved or reheated. Food looked appetising and served on wooden blocks, my chicken burger was dry and my chips tasted of well used oil, the curry was tasty i was told and the burger was also dry kids meal looked ok at least it was fresh peas!
