Served by this kind, soft spoken lady Wathsala. I requested her to boil some water for my hot water bottle which she did. That was indeed very kind of her.

Always friendly, even when busy. Be patient here & come in good time for your train. Thanks Nathsala for your warmth every morning....Served today by Sally on my day off, whitty & pleasant as usual. The Heineken is spot on and I've had it far more expensive elsewhere....

Expensive even as a station consession goes. We were met with not the most friendly of welcomes to say the least. Being barked at about whether we would like to pay with card. Otherwise comfortable furniture and an ok atmosphere once sat down

We just ordered tea and coffee. The raspberry tea was very good. It’s a nice place to wait before your train. The lady taking orders was kind of grumpy though. She also wasn’t very forthcoming when asked questions. Maybe she’s having a bad morning though. I’d still visit again.You can enter before or after you scan your ticket which is nice.

We stepped in and were looking at the menu before we got our next train, planning to buy some hot food to go. Not a minute passed before a staff member walked out from behind the counter, despite there being a queue and all seats being taken up to tell us we couldn’t be inside of the cafe because we were holding Costa cups. We were not sat down, we were not planning on sitting down, we were ushered out to repeated “we aren’t Costa” from the staff member. It was one of the weirdest customer service interactions I’ve ever had. Not sure if the person was new, but that’s not how cafes work? I’d advise they spend their time serving the customers waiting rather than scaring new ones off for non existent rules.

Absolutely fantastic service from person who was managing the continual flow of people on both sides of the cafe with a smile and friendly helpful way.
