Fab place to visit nice a cool during the summer and pleasantly warm in the winter.I am offered a beverage of choice from time to time and the head lady Hana makes an effort to remember her clients names if your a regular.Book in advance as this place is located on a high street there are always walk-ins.These ladies work here all day so helping them out with instructions on exactly how I'd like my nails done, if it doesn't look right I always point it and they always fix it for me.Large variety of gel/polish/ powder colours to choose from.

I went in with 2 eyebrows and came out with 1 and 1/2!!!!!Customer service is really poor and staff are rude and always talking in their own language.While I was in the shop ladies were coming in to fix bad nails done by them...I've been going on and off for years and the service is not what it used to be back in the day....never again!!!If you want your nails to look good do not go there!!!

Unfortunately very bad quality for infilling your nails. After couple of days or one week, my nails looked terrible. Tried couple of more times but they are still did not improve. Also the boss lady tried to trick me and asked more money as I asked for an infilling, which is £15 and just to paint my nails on my toes, which is around £7-10 and she asked me £27....also spent around 5 minutes with my toes, I could do it better at home.....they are quite friendly but hate the fact when I go there and the person who is doing my nails is always on her phone and talk in Chinese....not too welcoming and personal...

The manager is extremely rude, particularly to people if colour! I noticed it twice. She also did a horrendous job on my nails with such odd shapes. She also didn't apply or properly causing one of my nail to nearly break in half a week later. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Very bad customer service. Only go there if you are older and white....then you will be treated normally.

I got infill with gel paint done today. I am sort of regular customer there and liked their shaping last couple of times by a particular technician, who unfortunately was off today.The lady who I was handed off to, was well grumpy and didn’t know much about almond shaping the nails. I keep requesting to correct the shape which only helped a tiny bit.She then put the gel paint on which didn’t cover sides of my nails at all. And once she dried my gel Nails under UV light, she then again shaped me nails a bit which took off the gel paints around my nails and left them uncovered and looking half done.When I complained to the head of the salon branch about the poor shaping and it was bumpy, she said I should have raised it with her BEFORE the paint was applied and now there is nothing they can do ( in a very rude tone)I was fuming but I didn’t say anything more. I didn’t even complaint about the paint as I didn’t want to argue and left the New York Nails Chingford branch and will never visit there again.They could have made a bit of effort at least for me being a regular customer and dealt the situation in a better way.

I'm not a hand and a foot model,my nails look great,very nice friendly place,lovely foot massage and relaxation as well. It's nice to put your feet up.

Got there early to be told there was double booking, then had to wait over an hour, friends had to wait ages for me, then got told that realistically I should have paid more for how long it took! when told me £30 . Won’t be going back

my absolute favourite place to get my nails done. very friendly and funny staff. my nails always look so gorgeous and are a reasonable price!

I returned to this salon after 7 years - I asked for infils on my acrylics and the owner lady told me my nails were too thick and they needed redoing so I accepted this. I had the baby boomer design and was horrified how they he had done them (nail technician) also the ombré was a stripe design - I asked him to make them thinner and three times he caught my fingers with the drill. I attended a second time two weeks later to have them thinned as I couldn't pick anything up! Again he caught my fingers twice with the drill! I was furious - and the lady owner then told me it's because I want them too thin - she was very rude! In the end I had them soaked off and put gel nail colour on. Oh and one lady came in and was almost crying because the lady owner was soooo rude to her. I WONT BE GOING BACK THERE (my fingers are still healing)
