The Belgravia Surgery
I have been registered with them since 9 years, but their services have fallen dramatically during the pandemic. Dr Ben and Parry were amazing, but never get hold of them now. I have a toddler who gets sick regularly, the GP is never willing to see her in person despite this being the recommendation for any child under the age of 2 (NHS -111). I have on 3 occasions been ignored by them and spent 5 6 hrs in A&E despite trying to resolve thing proactively. Does not make sense to continue with them, when they can't be bothered to provide the service we joined up for. Surprising they still just see people online even on emergency appointments rather than allowing them to come in to be seen especially babies and toddlers.

I recently contacted this surgery to discuss an allergic reaction, I was offered an appointment by an efficient, helpful receptionist. I saw a GP and had a prescription immediately. This first medication did not solve the problem, so I contacted them again. I had a same day appointment with Dr Chieng. He was incredibly helpful and the next treatment was successful. He also suggested I have blood tests which were arranged for the next week. Again, the nurse practitioner is experienced and professional. Dr. Chieng telephoned ( Friday evening) to see how I was responding to the 2nd medication and to discuss my blood tests. This is a very professional, caring, responsive service.

Belgravia Surgery has been our family's surgery for over 25 years, if not longer. They have looked after us over the years and even when things don't go to plan, they have endeavoured to sort things out. My parents have complicated medical histories and they have been very prompt and professional in their care and service.Nobody or no service is perfect, especially with the state of the NHS currently, but the team at Belgravia are doing their best and it shows. The current admin team are on the whole knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help. Thanks Belgravia Surgery. From The Patels

I was really disappointed with this practice, especially as someone who is, thankfully, usually healthy and very rarely requires medical help. Firstly, the phones weren’t being answered until 8:20, despite the practice being open from 8. The receptionist was polite and helpful- I asked for a phone consult with a GP. I was given a triage appointment with an ANP. I was extremely disappointed with the consultation with the ANP. The nurse was very unsympathetic and unprofessional, discussing how she was also ill and managed to make it into work. She was very belittling of my concerns. I had waited over 5 days for my illness to resolve by itself and had been advised by members of my family and friendship group who are doctors to contact the GP at the stage, so I felt I was being sensible. However, this ANP was unfortunately patronising in regards to this fact. Following this consultation, I will no longer be using their services and will be changing practice as soon as possible. I know how good a GP service can be and unfortunately this individual has hugely let the practice down on this occasion. I also feel that an online appointments system, which many GP practices are now adopting, would alleviate many patient’s frustrations in regards to getting an appointment.

It used to be good. Then, well before covid, it went down hill fast both from an admin and medical care perspective. Recently I had to wait over 2 hours for the phone to be answered. Today I called for a follow up appointment and the receptionist wasn't able to book me an appointment I had to have triage- despite having already seen a doctor about the issue and needing a face to face follow up. In addition the doctor told me that HRT only works on one in 3 women, which is nonsense, and refused to put me on it. I subsequently saw a gynaecologist privately and am much better now I have HRT. I have been at the surgery for many years and am now moving surgeries. I do not recommend using The Belgravia Surgery.

I have always had a really good experience with Belgravia surgery. They have always gone out of their way to support me and I have had a really good experience of being referred, which has made all the difference for me. The doctors, nurses and reception staff are really friendly and kind.

Communication at this surgery is extremely poor. Last month I popped in the surgery to make an appointment and there was no availability for a month. I have never received a response to my email from 6w ago. Today I had to call multiple times and finally the receptionist picked up after ringing 45min. The nurse is currently unwell and therefore, no appointments can be made for in 3 weeks, when treatment is necessary. According to the receptionist there is no alternative. Bravo.

Unfortunately this surgery has one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. I find it hard to believe that there is anybody actually running the place. Receptionists frequently hang up on calls rather than leave you in a queue. There's also an automated message at the start of every phone call that tells you that you can book your appointments online, when in fact this option has been disabled on the website for years now. Truly shameful admin management.

The Belgravia Surgery has looked after me superbly for many years. I have multiple health issues but the care and attentiveness and kindness from all the staff is reassuring. My GP is Dr Chieng who is a wonderfully kind, and wise, highly professional Doctor. I am very grateful to him and all of the great Belgravia team.

I am sick and tired of this clinic, one day they have asked to take a blood test and the test result was mixed up with someone else and I was advised based on the result that I should have heart attack between the Age 42 to 48. another case when I have kept chasing them for my minor surgery; I have booked for my Stiches removal and on the same day of the appointment; they have advised me that the appointment is cancelled and I need to wait for another 2 weeks and this is unacceptable to keep the stiches longer than 5 days
